New to panty fetish

Hi,

I’m brand new to the whole idea of selling used panties. I didn’t even know such a fetish existed until my boyfriend told me! I’m very curious about it and want to give it a go but I’m quite shy.
I’ve been looking through the forums to try and get as much advice as possible before I decide where I should go from here. It looks like having a good set of pictures is essential but I’m worried about people recognising me and I’m not very confident about showing off my body to people.

It also looks like it’s a good idea to have your own website, but I’m not sure I want to go all-in with both feet before I’ve tested the water.

I’ve been looking at the auction sites and I wonder if that’s a good place to start.

I know this sounds silly, but I’m really worried about selling my panties to someone I know! How would I look them in the face again!

Sorry if I’ve asked too many questions or I’ve put this in the wrong place. This looks like a friendly and sensible place to talk about this sort of thing, and this being my first step, I’m hoping you’ll go easy on me.

The chances of someone recognising you is remote, unless you have distinctive tattoos or you show your face. Even if you do show your face, would someone really say ‘Hey you I saw you, you are on that panty site selling used knickers!’ It would give the game away that they spend time looking at used panty sites would it not? IF anyone did say that you would just look blankly at them and say ‘On a what!?’

If you obscure your face and remain discreet and *don’t tell anyone* you will be quite safe and you can enjoy your little secret. The sellers who have been found out and exposed are the ones who weren’t discreet and told others who couldn’t be trusted.

Once you start experimenting with pics you will see which angles look good and you may be surprised. Men love women’s bodies. That’s a fact. Only women have hang ups about women’s bodies, and only women judge other women’s bodies…and who cares what they think anyway? Unleash your inner exhibitionist, it’s quite liberating you know 😆

My advice to you is to try the auctions. It’s a good way to build up a reputation as a serious seller and you can gain some feedback which will increase your trustworthiness for other buyers. As soon as you start getting some repeat business try a blog. Lots of sellers sell from blogs, there is no cost and it’s a great way to start learning how to run your own place on the web.

I used to wonder if I would sell to someone I know but it never happened. There is more chance that I would win the lottery…and I haven’t yet…Even if you did sell to someone you know, they wouldn’t know it was you would they? What a giggle. 😉 Just be professional and be discreet…

Auctions sound like a good start!
Most importantly you need assess how you are going to feel when someone approaches you asking for panties, if you become anxious and paranoid because you think you might know them, Panty Selling won’t be fun.

Being shy is a great virtue, but you will need to get yer kit off! You’ll need to find the confidence to do that, and once you do there is no going back 😆

There isn’t a huge deal of money to be made in this business. In my experience ladies who start selling and stick with it, its because they have become part of this fun and supporting community other then raking in big amounts of cash!

There aren’t a lot of people who have their faces in their photos, so unless you have some distinctive scars or tattoos (which can be hidden using Photoshop) the chances of someone recognizing you are slim to none.
Similarly the chances of you knowing one of your buyers is sooooo incredibly small. There’s a very tiny percentage of the adult population who enjoy dirty panties so you’ll be pretty safe.

This should be a great confidence building exercise for you! It’s nice being admired by men who adore your scent. You should definitely give it a chance at an auction, and if it doesn’t feel natural or “right” then at least you’ll know that you gave it a shot. It’s great to push your limits and to be brave and try something new.

Many thanks to you all for your kind replies. It makes me feel like I came to right place to get started!
I think I’m going to give it a go and take some pictures. I’ll have a look at doing a “me” page as well. I think it’s a good place to start.
Would it be OK if I run things through here before I start listing things for auction?
Where is a good place to auction? I’ve seen Ebanned and the auctions here – are there any other places worth looking at?

Some sort of photos are a must. There are also free classifieds ads at http://www.usedpantyworld.com which are more prominent than the classifieds here at the main Panty Hog site.

No matter where you sell, the best way to get people to find you and your offers is to be active here in the forums and to put news of yourself and your offers on the Panty Hog front page.

Take your time and have fun here.
Once you start selling be wary of guys asking for freebies. eg. a couple of pics or something similar.
Let them know you’re the boss then when you have good and loyal clients,these are the guys to maybe add a little gift now and then or whatever you think is right for each client.
If you get stuck take a look at Panty University or asks any the girls.
Obviously we guys know very little,only where to find good panty sellers.;)
