Nominations are now open

If anyone says no to a nomination will you just not put them up for the vote?  Will we know if someone has graciously turned it down?

Alot of people are voting and if one of their nominees ends up not in i’m sure they’ll wonder why.

Yes, as a matter of fact one person did this last year. A great guy here took some time to write up a very nice, very genuine nomination for the person and she apparently couldn’t be bothered even to respond to us when we contacted her regarding the nomination, and as far as I am aware, even respond to him regarding it. I felt horrible having to tell this person that after his great work on the nomination, that the person he nominated wouldn’t be included. Personally, I found it disturbing, and my Amy, who was around here as much as me prior to this, found the fact that someone could be so mean and cold as to not acknowledge this gesture from one of her fans to be so disgusting that she decided to take a break from here and hasn’t participated except behind the scenes since (Amy will be involved in the Awards ceremony as she was last year though).

So, yes, people do need to accept or not accept a nomination, either way is perfectly fine. However, regardless of your decision, please at least thank the person who took the time to nominate you.

I can see why you found it disturbing.

Alot of the panty buyers take the time to nominate people because they genuinely want someone to be recognised.  The least they could do is say thankyou, but no thankyou.

I know alot of the nominations are coming from other sellers this year too (dont know if it was the same last year) and I cant imagine most of them saying no or being so rude as to just completely ignore/snub it.[/color]

Oh those that i may have nominated for any awards, please bare in mind that i`m not that articulated (had to look up how to spell that  lol) with my wording, so there fore my write up`s for nominations are very short, maybe to short. So i`m sorry if i haven`t written a full praise for those that i have nominated.
