For you ladies utilizing the panty mall, how are sales and things going?
cheers,
Elle!February 15, 2006 at 12:14 am #6228tastykacieMemberFor me, I had one almost sale. I got a notification that someone bought some stocking, but recieved no payment/contact from buyer after 5 days (I sent him email 2 times to the address he provided), so put it back up for sale to someone else. But other than that, nothing yet.
But that’s just me, my site’s been slow since I opened the last week of December, but that’s still not very long to be up and running. Hope that answers your question!February 15, 2006 at 2:41 pm #6235Kinky KateMemberHi Ladies!
I have had a couple sales from a buyer I knew before I got my store at the Panty Mall. No new customers yet, but I seem to have alot of people browsing through the store. I think, like with all new things, it’s just going to take some time for people to get used to something new. I’d suggest using the Newsletter & email tools to keep in touch with the people that have visited your store. Don’t let them forget about you! I’ve been adding stock daily, slowly making the switch from selling through my Yahoo group to selling through my Panty Mall store exclusively.Â
It is a bit of work & is time consuming, but I love it. So much more organized than what I was doing before..phew!
I feel even naughtier in my endevours now, having to grab the computer when the rest of the family is out of the house for some “Panty Mall” time… ;)he ha! Shall we keep eachother updated?? ~Kinky KateFebruary 16, 2006 at 3:02 am #6240tastykacieMemberHi Kinky Kate,
It looks like you’ve figured out the mall better than I have. I stumbled across the newsletter section and wondered what it was. Is that something that people have to sign up for if they want to recieve? I don’t want to be sending out unwanted emails. Thanks much!
KacieFebruary 16, 2006 at 6:59 pm #6248Kinky KateMemberKacey-
Yes, the newsletter is something that customers have to sign up for in order to be on the newsletter mailing list. If they ticked the Newsletter box when they signed up, then they will get your Newsletters. ~Kinky Kate
February 23, 2006 at 8:33 pm #6301tastykacieMemberSo, I recently got an order through the panty mall, and the buyer had selected other online payment as his choice. I emailed him and told him where I accepted online giftcards from and as soon as I got payment, I’d prepare his order. I have heard nothing back at all.
This is the second time I’ve gotten an order and when I contact the buyer, I don’t get a response. The last one I gave a week, then put the item back up for sale. Will do the same here, but hopefully will hear something back.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here or have any suggestions for me?
Thanks.February 24, 2006 at 12:17 am #6308judyMember~~Hi Kacie~~ 🙂
Ohh…welcome to the world of soiled panty selling. Dead beats can be pretty common in our business. And what people don’t talk about too is that lots of times these deadbeats are actually rival panty girls just screwing with you. Pathetic but true. Just keep going and eventually real clients will arrive for you.
Some suggestions from me as a long time seller to new sellers would be to make good use of the tools available to you. For instance look through the feedback of other sellers on auction sites for guys who have left feedback. If they left feedback about the panties the gal sold them, then you know they go through with the transaction. Email these guys directly and let them know about what you have to offer. You can also use this feedback info to see what they have bought so you know what they are interested in. If you see some of these guys with good feedback bidding on an auction, email them and let them know that you’ll sell them a very similar item for less than their high bid. Don’t forget to find clients from other girls’ guestbooks on their sites too. All’s fair in love and war and you need to look out for yourself. smt

How’s the Guest Book trawling going Judy?
And have the new sellers learned another lesson .. switch off email address display on your Guestbooks? lmao
February 24, 2006 at 8:07 am #6315Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberJudy, I have to say that I have never in all my years of selling ever undercut or stolen clients from another girl.
You cannot justify doing that, but I guess it depends on what sort of reputation you wish to build up.
I also have never been “messed about” by another seller pretending to buy something, so maybe your strategy could already be making you enemies in the industry, just to annoy you right back.
And as Leatherz just mentioned Im sure that most girls have decided to remove email address option from their guestbooks now anyway.
Go pay for advertising like everyone else, dont shaft your fellow seller!

Hi Kacie, buyers are not “deadbeats” hun just because they may not wish to buy immediately, but maybe you just need to explain on your site how the payment goes before they order, then they know immediately that you prefer a gift card rather than online payment.
If you want support from your fellow sellers, please don’t go emailing other girls guestbook entries – that is actually a form of spamming and really does not go down too well in the industry as it is extremely disrespectful.
🙂 .. This is my advice from a genuine very long time established seller 🙂

[color=purple]Judy, I have to say that I have never in all my years of selling ever undercut or stolen clients from another girl.Well that’s just peachy for you. Maybe someone should give you an award. In the real world you have to do whatever you have to do to keep food on the table. Besides, it is the Buyers who decide who they buy from regardless of how they are contacted.
By the way, I do believe that I was speaking to Kacie who asked for advice. I don’t recall asking for comments from the peanut gallery.
February 24, 2006 at 5:25 pm #6320tastykacieMemberWow, Didn’t think my question would cause argument.
I guess I was just curious if anyone else in the panty mall was having the same issue. I’m totally fine if someone changes their mind and decides not to buy from me, I don’t prepare an item until I recieve payment, so it’s not like I’m being taken advantage of or anything.
Maybe I’ll try to change my store layout around to make it more clear what payments I accept and how that stuff works.February 24, 2006 at 5:32 pm #6321leatherznzpiceMemberKacie,
I think your idea on setting out payment options on your store in Panty Mall is a good idea, as Cindy suggested 🙂
Judy,
WTF is your problem, as to the Peanut Gallery answering, remember this is a public forum and isn’t here solely for you to spout off despite what you may think, show some respect and you’ll get some respect backl B)
February 24, 2006 at 5:56 pm #6322Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberHi Kacie, dont worry your question hasnt caused any arguments at all – the forum is here for EVERYONE to use and comment as they wish 🙂
Good luck in your selling and Ill be sure to recommend you to my clients as I am so busy I cannot take on board anymore orders at the moment as I’m maxed out until mid April.Â

Oh, Judy – you are so FUNNY! lmao
February 24, 2006 at 7:18 pm #6325Delicious_JessMember“Maybe someone should give you an award.”
I don’t know if you noticed Judy, but someone did!!
We’ll compare Cindy’s methods with your selling techniques and come to our own conclusion. How many twinkly awards has guestbook fishing got you? No, didn’t think so.
Hey, I know gent who you’d get on with like a house on fire, I think he’s called Jimmy…has generous breasts and is covered in Maceral oil.
