Yes, even I have been in very sparingly lately due some problems. It is really frustrating to have a list of things you need to get done and the log in screen progress bar moves a couple of inches and then just stops! I’ve found myself saying “fuck it” , closing the window, and working on something else allot lately. Everyone using Second Life is frustrated, it isn’t just us Panty Hoggers. SL says they are working to get things more stable and blaming it on so many users so quickly. They say that they are consistently having 30,000 or more logged in at once and that this causes the tech problems. I don’t know where the 30,000 are hiding, during the last couple of weeks with the tech problems, when I have gotten in, the whole of SL is a ghost town, even the zombie chair campers aren’t sitting around in the usual places.
Anyway, I know they’ll get this worked out, it is worth far too much money to Linden Labs and every day that people are complaining is bad for their business. Once the dust settles, yes, we need to get things going more actively.
