I’ve read quite a few posts saying that their accounts have been closed or whatnot because the site they’re using is against adult stuff, but what I’m wondering is, how would they know? do you outright let the site know what you’re selling?

They eventually find out in one of several ways. If you include something in the description of the item that raises their suspicion like “my dirty thongs” they’ll notice. If a buyer writes something in the “notes” area like “This payment is for your dirty thong”, they’ll notice. Paypal is rumored to have “spies” that work for them trolling auction sites, and sites like Panty Hog looking for panty sellers using Paypal. Lastly, I’ve heard plenty of stories regarding panty sellers turning in other panty sellers. Don’t use them. Try Alertpay for now, and hopefully we’ll have news soon about a payment processor designed just for panty sellers and buyers.  😉

You know why my PP account got shut down? Because of a Mr. David Novack (ebenolc@yahoo.com) who bought panties and then decided, “Hum I bet if I report her to PP for selling adult items, I can get my $ back!”  Well the asshole didn’t get his $ back, but he did thoroughly piss me off.  Ladies- avoid him @ all costs!!!!!

Hi I was using Paypal and had my account frozen about a month back with money still in there (got it back about 2 weeks later! ). Today Nochex has shut down my account and I’m looking at what’s available in the UK…any ideas :huh:

Other than Bank transfer, Cash or Cheques etc or trying Alertpay there isn’t much at the moment.

But from PK’s (admin’s) post it might pay to keep your eyes out for on news items in future on Panty Hog .. no I don’t know anything more, but I ‘feel’ there may be news in the future.

I have been using paypal but I my recipts all say Greatlakesperformance.This and descriptions all read for car parts.I find the men like it becouse the wife wont know what it is on the bank statment.Also been using moneyorders but when they send them only with a sign recipt this way there is no question if I ever got the moneyorder.

Unfortunately, this won’t work for long. I don’t think many if any of the ladies who’ve had their accounts seized by PayPal used an obvious name or blatantly panty sounding item names. The problem is rather that a buyer will get upset about something and turn you in, or so we’ve heard, another seller will.  :unsure:

Or that a customer of yours will get caught and PP will note that you did business with him…  Or several of your customers will get caught and PP will notice you are a common link…  If the account of anyone you’ve done business with is scrutinized, your account will probably also be scrutinized.

As was said on the Ebanned forums, when you use PP for adult stuff the risk is all the seller’s – the buyer is paying by credit card so if PP freezes the account they likely lose nothing.  But when a seller’s account gets frozen, all the funds she’s received and not withdrawn are forfeit.  Could be hundreds and hundreds.  $$$

I’ve been very tempted to use PP a hundred times, but I’ve always been able to resist by reminding myself that breaking their rules is just asking for trouble.

Well as a used pantie collector i used to use both pp and nochex to buy them as both do not require a credit card to register being that I’m in the UK, but now that both have stop their payment services being used for “adult” items, (even though you can use pp on eBay for “adult” items!) i find it increasingly hard to buy. I know there is the option of cash via mail, but until i know and really trust a seller i wont entertain that idea.
At the moment i buy from just two sellers who i have know for some time. Its was 4 but the other two decided to stop selling for various reasons.
So until i find a payment system that allow`s you to use it for “adult” themes and does not need a credit card for proof of age,  i will keep to my trusted sellers.
I`ve been stung to often in the pass to jump straight in and buy form a new seller!

This is a classic reason why we need more seller reviews on this site…c’mon guys…tell us about the good sellers!

That`s a good question. Maybe i`ll stop buying? But that’s in the future as i don`t see either one giving up just yet.
Both have there own yahoo groups and one is even a member here, the delightful Kinky Kate. It takes time for me to trust a seller and until that time i do trust another seller, i will stay with the ones i know.

I think trying a seller for the first time, if she is well established, isn’t necessarily a big risk.  The ladies that won the Golden Panty awards this year (Cindy, Chandie, RealRed) are all long-time panty girls, and I would be surprised as hell if any of them cheated a customer.  I think the girls who have proven over the years to be good sellers have automatically earned some trust and respect and shouldn’t be lumped in with the fly-by-night scammers.  A lot of panty gals are real gems.  smt
