Hi Ladies,
I was just wondering how the rest of you handle customers/orders when it gets to be close to the monthly time. I usually have a pretty good idea about when mine will come, thanks to birth control, but this month, it surprised me right in the middle of an order, a full 3 days before schedule. Obviously, that order was a bust, so I contacted the customer right away and explained the situation, unfortunately it was after he was super excited about getting them. Usually, I find that buyers are pretty understanding, but I just feel bad about it.
So, I guess my question is, do you set a whole week aside just to avoid earliness or lateness issues? Or do you work right up until the last moment and hope for the best?

I usually know a week before because of my terrible PMS. So, can not help here 🙁

I’m pretty lucky because I’m bang on every 28 days so I can book in 4 days off. I start wearing orders as and when I finish. I can’t guess and I can’t guarantee but as longas you keep buyers informed what else can you do?

If you start early the buyer just has to understand, it’s one of those things and it can’t be helped. Why feel bad about it? It’s not like it happened because you’d overslept that morning or anything…lol

I’m on the pill so I pretty much know to the day when I will start.  If an order comes in, I just let them know I’m on my period and they usually dont have a problem.  I hate it thoguh cause mine is 7 days long ugg, cant complain thoguh cause before I was on the pill it was 10 to 12 days.  :ohmy:  . SO really I wount worry about it, most men know that its something we have to deal with, hell make money and offer period panties..lol.  🙂

i get mine roughly every 3 weeks, which is a real pain and im sure abnormal! and its never dead on, so its always happening when i have orders..i just explain to them..theres nothing i can do about it, most of them are ok with it, if theyre not, tough! theres not much we can do!

Thanks for the input everyone! I guess sometimes I just worry that a customer will get very upset if you tell them in a middle of an order that it’s going to be delayed.

I do have a question about period panties though. How long do you girls wear them for without a tampon or pad or anything? If you were to go out of the house and to work, wouldn’t you be worried about bleeding through and onto your clothes?

Hmm, I’ve always wondered that too but have never been asked for period panties so have never had to deal with it.  My period panties are usually complete accidents when I’ve forgotten to check the calendar  :rolleyes:

I’ve never actually filled an order for period panties, but my idea would be to wear them on your heaviest day, that way you woldnt have to wear them long. Though I guess that depends on how heavy your flow is.  IF I were filling an order thoguh I would try to do it at a time I could stay in the house.  my .02

i have actually sold some of my period panties. i have 2 more orders to fill.

Hi Ashley,
So, what do you do for your period panties? Just wear them enough to get them covered or do you chance wearing it for a certain amount of time and hope you don’t mess up your clothes?
I’m just curious about this.

I just wear them with a pad and if a stain happens, they get sold.

I wore mine for 24 hours with the tampon in and then took the tampon out for a bit until a blood stain developed on top of the previous stains. My buyers was chuffed to bits with it!

i wear them for awhile with a tampon then i wear them without when my flow is less, or when my period is almost over.

Hi girls,

I’m sooo glad I just found this topic!  As you know I’m a new seller and half way through preparing my very first order my period took me by suprise by arriving a whole week early.  Now as this is my first sale I’m really disappointed but I know there’s not much I can do. 

The only problem is my buyer has been so keen to get the panties he even paid double for them!  I’m the honest type so didn’t think it fair to take a double payment and not give him anything in return so we agreed on special delivery.  Now this has happened I feel even worse!  I’ve offered to create a photoset for him whilst he waits for the panties, do you girls think this is fair compensation considering?
