POSTAL STRIKE!!!!!

Ladies, are you all aware that the Postal Service is on strike this Friday (29/6)?  :angry:

Its for the entire day across the whole of the UK.  And there will be more in July

Ok, there is definately a postal strike in the UK on Friday and also, because of the recent flooding in certain areas – ie mine, electricity is still off in some work places and post office sorting centres are one of them. First class isn’t guarenteed at the mo.

Hey Anni, they are on strike because of pay disputes.  They turned down a 2.7% rise and were angry that it was claimed that their unions had been trying to get 27%! which was a lie.

They are also worried because the postal service will apparently be cutting thousands of jobs soon.

Post should be back to normal now, though it wasn’t too bad, I posted some panties first class on Wed and they arrived this morning still damp, thank god!!!
Lets hope the good old posties don’t do it again though  :unsure:
