I have been attempting to sign up with PPPay for the past five days so that I can use them. Their sign up form is broken. Each time I try to register I get a form error message about the date of birth. I put my date of birth in exactly like it says but still no luck. I have emailed them everyday and all I get is an automated response telling me they’ll respond soon. They never have. What kind of suck arse operation are they running there?! No one can sign up for a new account and they don’t seem to give a rat’s arse about it? Has anyone got a response back from them about this? Will they ever fix it? Are they a bogus operation? mad
November 6, 2005 at 9:32 am #4781Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberHiya … I have to say in their defence that they have been nothing but helpful during my dealings with them.
1) Are you sure you are signing up in the USA Dollar area (if that is where your credit card is from). The main problem I encounter is that many guys who come from the US sign up in the GBP area because that is what I am charging in, and then it gets messy when the penny check is performed on their US card.
2) Remember that PPPay are a UK based company and in the UK we use different a way of writing a date;Â Make sure you enter it in the right order:
DAY/MONTH/YEAR
If you are signing up in the correct area and using the correct order for your date of birth then I cannot understand what the problem could be.
I know they were adding Australian Dollars to their list so maybe they accidently muffed something up and even though you get an automated response maybe they didnt get any mail?
Also have you tried signing up with a different browser? There are things I cannot do using Internet Explorer and so I have to use Mozilla and visa versa.
If you are signing up to pay someone, then ask that someone to contact them on your behalf.
And I can assure you they are not bogus. I have never ever had any sort of issue or problem in receiving or withdrawing my money.
What about anyone else out there?
November 6, 2005 at 5:31 pm #4783adminKeymasterWell, I’ll be damned. :cheer: Cindy, I tried in the past to open an account there and had the exact problem as asseater. I finally gave up on it. After your post, I went back, and sure enough, the order of month/day was the problem. I consider myself fairly web savvy, but I never caught this difference in the way the dates are entered. I looked at that form until my eyes were red trying to figure it out, and even though it’s there, I didn’t see it. I bet there are a lot of folks in the USA who don’t see it and just move on.
Another cultural difficulty of globalization. Jeesh! What’s next, steering wheels on the right-hand side? lmao

November 6, 2005 at 7:35 pm #4784Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberWell the only reason I thought about that was because on many occassions I have to enter “back-to-front” dates for US sites and as PPPay are UK, I assumed they would have it the “right” way round HAHAA
*dig dig*Â 😛
