PPPay Question Anyone Know?

~~My first post~~ I am looking at signing up with PPPay. Does anyone know what information is shown to buyers? Do they see my real name and address or just my email address? Thanks  🙂 🙂

Hmmm, never really considered that to be honest. I can’t find anything about it on PPPay’s help menu but I should imagine they’d only see your email address not your personals.

Buyers, what shows up when you pay guys?

Hi soccermom,

I’ve used pppay before, but didn’t see any details of the person I was sending money to.? The system relies on entering their email and pppay checks to see if the email is a member and then takes you to the next step to enter details of payment etc.

I actually haven’t seen any way to lookup members on pppay, the ppay system seems to check things out and inform the recipient that they have a payment waiting.? Then updates the senders transactions area when the payment is accepted.

As Delish says, I can’t find anything on pppay’s help system that shows anything on looking up members details.

Maybe others can shed more light on this.

You’re a sweetheart  :kiss: PPPay asks for more detailed info than “the other place” . I don’t mean to be paranoid but hopefully buyers can understand that some details such as address are desired to be kept private. Thank you again for your help, and to you too Jess.  smt

I *think* that you could get away with using fake info in all the “profile” stuff on PPPay, but you would need to use your real info when it came time to attach any bank/credit card accounts to your PPPay account.? However, I’m pretty sure all the customer sees is the email and the “contact” name, which I know you can use your pseudonym for as that’s what I have done.

PPPAY have just closed my account, when I emailed them they said used panty sales is adult and they are changing their terms, ADULT sites NO LONGER being accepted.. ALSO I have money in the account and they are being as damn right rude about it as paypal by holding onto it…  mad

Customer services is dead.  🙁 If they gave you a chance I’m sure you’d close it on request without kicking up a fuss but they have to make it difficult by choice. I hope you see your money too Donna.

Not much in there but its the principle… The worst part about it all is when a buyer comes to your site, see’s another payment processor that they have to join and they just think ‘Oh No’ I cannot be bothered.

I have a YowCow account, not impressed with them though and you have to set the whole thing up first and then hope they accept you after reviewing your site.

:angry:Well, I just noticed today that PPPay doesn’t currently recieve/accept US Dollars anymore!!!  mad So… now the payment processor I was going to use for my website… I can’t even use anymore! I’m having too many road blocks to getting my website up. Yikes… what other processors could I use now… being in the usa and all.

Is anyone having trouble logging in to pppay? I’m getting this meassage and no one can send me payments:

“Your account is currently inaccessible. If you have changed your email address please see the email we will have sent you”

Or is this PPPay’s way of closing me. I remember Donna saying she couldn’t log in. I’ve not changed my email address btw.

I guess PPPay is having some trouble with their site right now. They can’t receive or send any US dollars currently. The good news is they believe that this is a temp.thing. So,if your wanting a payment from someone in the US that is using that system,thats probably the reason, so hang in there!!!
