We have a great feature on Panty Hog which is often misused and causes a great deal of tutting and rolling eyes all round.
So the buyer asks for a particular pair of panties. Or a Panty DVD. Or a particular service. He posts the request on the Wanted forum and waits for a response from sellers who can fulfill his desires…
All good so far.
A few sellers say ‘OOOooo I can do that, contact me’.
This is good too, after all it is what the forum is all about: putting buyers and sellers into contact each other.
BUT
What I hate hate hate :angry: is threads dug up by a newbie seller that can be TWO YEARS OLD, where the original poster hasn’t been seen or heard of for AGES, but the newbie seller will say ‘OOOooo I can do that for you, contact me’. Why? What is the point? He asked TWO YEARS ago!!
Should I post? Points to consider
Check how old the thread is by looking at the dates on the original post.
Check if the buyer is even still around!
Check their profile. When did they last log on?
If the buyer has disappeared DON’T post on the thread. The rest of the members do not want to see it again for the millionth time. The buyer certainly won’t see it.
If the buyer still visits the forum but the post is more than a couple of months old DON’T post but PM the buyer to see if he is still interested.
Do not respond to numerous (more than 2) posts of this nature. This is considered as spamming and your posts will be deleted.
This has happened quite a few times so is not directed at the last seller who did this but it has to be said (again) for all future newbie sellers.
Please don’t clutter up the forum with posts of this nature unless the request is a current one.
