I’ve been around panty auctions for a time and noticed over the past year or so more and more ladies putting something in listings for a video they’re selling like this videotape better not be resold or found on ebay or I’ll sue. I just came across one now on ebanned saying that even when you buy the video it still belongs to her and can’t be resold.
Where has silliness come from? Do sellers really believe this or do they just think us buyers are stupid? This is like selling me your car and then saying I have no right to sell it in the future. It is hogwash. I don’t resell my porn, but the truth is, if I buy and pay my money for your video, I own it. No, I can’t make copies and resell them, but after I’ve used it as much as I care to, I certainly may then sell that copy that I own on eBay or anywhere else. If this silly no sell rule was possible, don’t you think that the movie studios would do this with their dvds and videos?! Take a look at half.com to find a million preowned videos.
Guys don’t fall for this bunk. If you pay for it, you own it. That means you can keep it, sell it, or set it on fire if you choose. 😛
October 19, 2005 at 7:11 pm #4568Delicious_JessMemberThis is why I only burn for customers who I’ve had for a long time. All my stuff stays on my site and if it’s removed then it’s against my T&C’s and is theft.
It’s true you can resell it regardless of what she says. These poor women get ripped off left right and center, they need to imply extreme measures to put people off. There’s peeps out there who just want to use their hard work.
Can’t blame them really but it works both ways, if a seller looks after you, gives you that discretion then why not do that one thing and not sell it? You can’t pull the law card when you bend so many laws by ordering the panties really, can you?
And you couldn’t sell it on eBay….naughty!!! 😛

October 19, 2005 at 7:53 pm #4571darkhairedkarenMemberI can understand a seller wanting to keep track of who has her videos (if she’s not a high-volume pro seller). I see your point about the right to resell. I just feel very bad for the ladies that stop making pic CDs/videos because they’ve been burned by someone copying and selling their material. In the end that hurts any of the honest buyers out there who want to see more of her.
Amateur girls are a little bit different than pro porn stars… Maybe they need a little bit different consideration, too. If she asks you not to resell, consider that a favour she is asking for. Obviously you like amateur stuff if you’re buying it. Consider behaving in a way that encourages amateur girls to keep producing the stuff.
October 19, 2005 at 9:12 pm #4575joeMemberThank you for your responses ladies but I may not have been clear. Buying a video and then copying it and selling the copies is not legal and is also a shitty thing to do This goes for amateur panty videos, music cds, commercial movies, etc. I’ve got no problem with someone reminding buyers of this when they are selling.
What gets me is the sellers trying to scare buyers into thinking that it is illegal to resell that one copy that they own. For example pantybuyer buys videos from girls on ebanned, after a year or so he gets tired of them. He is well within his rights then to sell these videos to someone that wants them. Again, I’m talking about the actual disk that he purchased, not any copies. Personally, I keep everything so I’m not selling anything. It’s just the principal of these ladies being dishonest that bothers me.
Far be it from me to ever want to do anything to jeopardize the supply of used panties and related things. I’m just saying that I don’t like seeing falsehoods being spread about. On the same page, if some of these sellers actually do believe that they have a legal leg to stand on when someone resells their own copy, they need to know it ain’t so. This way they can make an informed decision about whether they want to put out the vids or not.

Jess,
Actually eBay is still the largest adult auction site on the internet with thousands of adult auction listings. eBay’s? “mature audiences section” is still going and growing as strong as ever. They have just made it harder to find. You have to go to “see all categories” then to “everythingelse”, then to “see all everythingelse categories” . Finally, you’ll see the link for mature audiences which you should bookmark so you don’t have to go through all that again. They’ve got everything there except used panties. What surprises me is that if you look in the “other” category in the mature audiences section, you’ll see a bunch of ads for ":cheer:ohmy:mmes”, most of these when read closely are solicitations for prostitution. That’s right, you can’t sell your panties on eBay, but you can sell your body. Go figure.?
October 19, 2005 at 11:11 pm #4580darkhairedkarenMemberJoe, if you’re upset about ladies saying it is illegal to resell your copy of her video then I understand. I don’t think it’s illegal. If she asks buyers not to resell, as a favour, I can see why she might want that.
October 19, 2005 at 11:47 pm #4582Delicious_JessMemberWhere I live they don’t allow porn or erotic photography on ebay. I don’t think we have a mature audience section. I know I cant sell photos anyway. Dom, massage etc have the get out of being able to say that you pay for time not sex, sex was for free if anyone asks.
I just think this whole game is about give and take. You ask the girl that she not declare to the world that you sniff her panties. She asks that you not resell her stuff. I think that’s fair. It’s more about respect than law, especially when we’re both playing a “lawless” game. They may be wrong, but hey, if it helps….. no one’s hurt.
