——-There are alot of vendors out there that all require complex configuration notecards to be used in order to set the price of your items set the textures plus much more. Even if it is not notecards it is trying to fit everything into the description of the vendor or completly changing the name of the vendor. Not anymore:
 Â
Now there is the simple and easy to use Drag ‘n’ Drop vendor system! This could not be simpler to use:This can be a multi item vendor or a single vendor, it automatically adjusts itself to what is in it’s inventory !
How to use
————1) Get the item/items that you wish to sell,
2) Put the item into the vendors inventory (See below if you do not know how to do that)
3) Put in a texture for the item, rename to the same as the item but with ” tex” at the end,
4) Put in a notecard for the item, rename to the same as the item but with ” note” at the end.
5) Rename the item, with the a “=” at the end followed by the price you want to sell it at,
6) Repeat steps 2-5 for more items.
6) You are done !! (See below for an example)
 Â
When you touch the vendor you will get a menu appear with the following options:“Offline” – This sets the vendor offline so that items can not be bought. When you set to offline mode you will get a message appear asking to take money from your account
this is so if anyone does pay the vendor in offline mode they can get refunded. Please say [YES] to the message that appears.
 Â
“Online” – This sets the vendor to online mode (normal vendor operation)“Reset” – Completly resets the scripts in the vendor. If here is an error in the vendor this will usually fix it.
“Help” – Sends you this notecard.
 Â
Example
———I want to sell an item called: “Blue Prism” for 120 Lindens.
I find the item called “Blue Prism” in my inventory. Then place into the vendors inventory. Then find the texture i wish to use for it, in this case the texture is: “blue forever”.
I then place that texture into the vendors inventory and rename to “Blue Prism tex”. Next i get the notecard that is given if someone press’s the info button.
In this case the notecard is called: “My Blue Prism Info”. I put it into the vendors inventory and rename it to “Blue Prism note”. Finally, as i want to sell the “Blue Prism” for 120 Lindens
I rename it to: “Blue Prism=120” where “120” is the price i want it sold for. Now just leave it and watch your items being sold and the money rolling in.
 Â
How to place items into the vendors inventory
=============================Ok so you read what you have to do, but how do i actually get the items into the inventory? Simple, just read this:
 Â
1) Right Click the vendor and choose “Edit” from the pie menu,
2) Click the “More” button and chose the “Content” tab,
3) Here you will see what is already in the vendor.
4) Open your inventory and select the item you wish to sell.
5) Drag this item into the vendors inventory (the content tab).
6) Done, now just repeat this for your other items/textures and notecards.
 Â
How to rename items in the inventory
—————————————-1) Select the item/texture/notecard in the vendors inventory that needs re-naming
2) Right click the selected items
3) Choose “Rename” from the drop down menu,
4) Type in the name you need it changed to
5) Press enter on your keyboard and there you go !Information
————If you only only have 1 item to vendor the vendor automatically adjusts so that the previous/next arrows dissapear. If you do not have any items in the vendor automatically goes to offline mode.
As you have nothing to sell in it :). Also if you have no texture for an item, a defualt texture is applied.
 Â
To buy from the vendor right click it and chose pay, if the correct amount is paid the item will be delivered to the person that paid and that sale will be added to the sale count. If ever you have an error and when you chose “Reset” from the menu and it does not work, feel free to send an IM me to me.
May 4, 2007 at 9:09 pm #15541AnonymousGuestthis is really confusing for me, do i have to add the quoatation marks?
say i had a item i wanted to sell called pink thong and an image called pink thong, how exactly should this look?
May 4, 2007 at 9:35 pm #15546adminKeymasterIf want to sell an item called: “Pink Thong” for 2000 Lindens. (any amount of Lindens 2000 is an example).
Find the item called “Pink Thong” and a photo/texture of it in your inventory. Then drag these into the vendor’s inventory.
You should have two items in your vendor’s inventory and here is exactly how you would want them named:
Pink Thong   (the item that will be given)
Pink Thong tex (the picture of the item)Now to set the Pink Thong price, rename the Pink Thong to include the price so now you should have exactly this in your vendor inventory:
Pink Thong=2000Â Â (the item that will be given)
Pink Thong tex   (the picture of the item)That’s it your pink thong is now for sale for 2000 lindens. You can add as many items as you like. If you want to have blue thongs too, your vendor contents should look like this:
Pink Thong=2000Â Â
Pink Thong texÂBlue Thong=2000Â Â
Blue Thong texÂAnytime you want to sell something, just drag it and its photo into the vendor and then rename them exactly as above. No quotation marks.
