Spammers

No, not viagra and other assorted pharmaceuticals or African refugees but panty girls who spam Panty Hog.

Every now and again we get a panty girl who spams the boards here at Panty Hog, dotted around various sections of the board, as well as in the mini chat. The spammers don’t contribute anything to the community or our discussions other than ‘Hey, look at my site.’

How do buyers and other sellers feel about this?

Also, as a buyer would you go and buy from this seller or would you give her a wide berth?

I must add though that if you haven’t seen this occuring it is because us mods delete it all as soon as we see it. So just imagine that you have for the sake of this topic.

This is interesting – I would like to know as well. The most recent spammer was a new seller who posted no less than 6 times the same “buy from me” paragraph in different threads all over the forum.  Not only that but the shout box was also abused.

Does this form of desperation really make you want to buy from these types of sellers or is it better to see a classy friendly post by a new seller?

I`m sorry, but this thread is making me  mad, why post about it the 1st place?, Most here are not that stupid to fall into the trap of buying from them! Anyone with a little bit of common sence know`s to keep clear of sellers that spam here.

Everyone is different though you know, some guys might like the more forceful approach?  You have one preference Mike but other guys really might be interested in that kind of self advertising.

Sure but the crux of this post I believe is that we are getting sick and tired of it. Almost each and every day we have to put up with crap that most don’t see because we clear it away. 

We have until now decided that self advertising yourself more than once or twice with no introduction is rude and not in keeping with the community spirit. 

However, the question was, does this bother the members? Should we leave the posts and let them alone damage the girls reputation or just keep one post or even ban her altogether?

I like how open this forum is with new members, especially when I was new. But I totally understand how having all the new posts in one day being “new panty girl” is annoying.

Also, as a note or whatever, I didn’t get one sell until after I was around for almost a month and a half. So, to new girls, please stay around and contribute…if not, it won’t help your sells much to hit and run.

Made me chuckle… I recently posted my first post entitled just that! hehe.. and I thought I was original!  Actually. it’s fairly obvious that I’m not very original in doing this, I thought it seemed to be the done thing here.  However, I wouldn’t have dreamt of re-posting the same thing all over the place.  It seems to me that there’s a wide selection of different categories to post in and its pretty obvious what they’re all for.  It’s not as if you can’t advertise your site whilst posting about other stuff… signatures seem to do that very well.  Sounds to me like the mods are doing a sterling job of keeping the posting sensible (just leaving one post rather than multiples).

I think most of the girls at one point or another advertise specials, or fun things on their blogs.  But its finding the balance between making people aware and being a spammer.

Some girls really do go over the top, and its mostly the utter newbies who dont know better, but probably should. 

I like sellers telling us what they have got on, its fun for me to go look too.  But I really dont like it when some people come here, post often and only EVER about what they are selling.  Its so great when people get involved in the forums, its part of what makes this such a great community.  We laugh, joke, share stories, loves, likes, hates as well as our undies.

Hey Panties Plus .. no way are you a spammer!! You can put your links in your signature or posts as much as you like.

A spammer is a seller that comes on here, no introductions or nothing and posts 5-10 times the exact same post in different areas on the forum.

A typical spammer goes like this:

“Check me out http://www.imdesperate.com – best panties anywhere – I have the best pussy, the best figure and the best prices – you dont wanna miss me ,,.. cum buy now – Im SO wet just thinking of you!!”

Get the drift  lmao
