Hi Jules
Hmm I dont know what you use to get your emails so I am not sure how you can view your headers. There should be an option that says, Show All, or Show Headers. In that header area you can see Originating IP. copy that number down and go to the whois on the net. type it in and it should tell you where it originated from and who ISP is. You can also report it as it should also give an abuse email to contact.
As for adding people to your block list, not a good idea because say if I for example needed to send you an urgent email then I couldnt get through. So just filter to your bulk instead of denying email addresses is better and gives you more control.
Another note about safety, is that you can turn off graphics in emails. Some graphics in emails do actually contain like a “ping” so the person who sent it knows that you have opened the mail and your email address is active.
It is always better to be overcautious. You get used to it Jules but I am afraid its what comes with being online.
I only use my Yahoo! email addresses, this way nothing can get onto my pc, nothing can be sent from my pc and I can easily block graphics showing in emails (if I want to see a graphic I have the option to view it).
PM me privately and let me know which you use to collect your emails and I will find out how you can view your headers 🙂 .. and add cindy_mp4u back on your safe list of emails 🙂
Love Cindy xxx
