I just had an auction close a few days ago on Ebanned. The winning bidder had zero feedback which always makes me a wee bit nervous. Anyhow, my listing specifically stated NO PAYPAL and he wanted to pay using it. Egads. Then he spoke of using some yahoo payment method and said he couldn’t get that to work. I just got this bad vibe cuz he is writing from a military email address and wants to send me a money order and it’s gonna go to an apo box.

Maybe it’s cuz I am new but I can’t help but think…lol…since I also do webcam…that I maybe pissed some guy off by saying hell no when he wanted me to do anal with my biggest toy…or a number of other ways I could of pissed a guy off…cuz I speak my mind….hahahhahah…and now he is gonna get me to send a pair of my panties to some military base chaplin…..

Am I being overly paranoid? Or is it okay to just back out of a transaction cuz ya just get a bad vibe?

Any help would be much appreciated. It’s just that in the past things went so smoothly and this one just seems not so smooth and makes me uneasy. Thanks ladies.

If you don’t feel good about the sale void it. He hasn’t paid you, no harm done. If he tries to blow you shit about not completing the transaction, remind him that you said no Paypal and that he tried to use it anyway.

    Hey 🙂

Nothing wrong with “speaking your mind” – it’s who I am. But by being nice about it, you’re bound to get further when dealing with clients.

    Follow your gut always.

From my perspective (since you asked):

I will say that I regularly ship to Military addresses without a problem. 🙂 You could use a return address that goes to a Pizza joint if that aspect worries you.

If he is willing to pay with a money order … I say you’re all good in the ‘hood. I prefer money orders when dealing with a potentially shady client … that way I don’t have to worry about chargebacks. 🙂

I have sent quite a few packages with no return address, without problem.  As Ruby said, you can use a fake address, too.

I recently mailed some *ahem* questionable items…  I put no return address and in the note I wrote that the contents were my contribution to his art project (make up any artsy-name/title).  It didn’t get opened, but even if it did (and they could trace its sender), what are they going to say?  Probably just give a warning, like, “even if it’s for art you can’t mail that stuff through regular post.”
