Trouble at the post office?

For the second time in the last month i’ve had a problem with panties going missing in the post.

For ages I’ve had no trouble at all with posting in the UK, and then two quickly dont arrive.  Both to trusted customers, and were were talking about it and got to wondering if it had anything to do with the recent spate of letter bombs. Interesting theory…

Is anyone else finding problems in the last few weeks?

Yep twice to the UK. All my post is specially tagged to so I know it arrives in the UK, but what happens next is a mystery.  This was also mentioned by regulars so I know its not someone ripping me off.  The replacements I sent out arrived fine though, but generally a few orders are taking a day or two longer as well.  I thought it was because of Valentines though.

A few have taken extra days to arrive, and two have failed to turn up totally.

And with no troubles at all any other time.  :angry:

In January I had a pair of very well worn slippers not turn up (my client was understanding and I gave full refund: (I am just waiting for the Post Office to pay me back). Also 2 pairs of my worn tights (for 1 customer) never got to the States. I have sent my compliants form to the Post office. I have to say FK it drives me insane when things take time to arrive/never arrive…I myself bought some ‘adult’ things and never got them. Those Royal Mail bastards!!!!!

It may be to do with the letter bombs because having actually seen a letter bomb package {we got one sent to the ward by a disgruntled patient once years ago} they do look a bit like panty parcels {plain brown bubble wrap type envelopes , a bit non-descript} I’m not sure what we can do about it though? I think writing Not a letter bomb in big letters wouldn’t work  :huh: but maybe something like drawing hearts  on the envelope …

Those with a wife at home will love you for that one  :cheer:  … No I just think we should trundle through it.  I would never risk putting anything that resembled it has come from a female on the outside, it might get through the postal checks but will the buyer be alive to even see it after the Mrs. found it?  :huh: :X

Have to say – timing is an incredible coincidence if its not increased mail security.

I’m hoping that “anticipation makes the scent grow stronger” , Sorry best I could come up with!!

Logically – to detect the bomb poster you would have to filter all “of the type packages” and I bet that’s a bloody huge quantity. Perhaps there are far more panty fans than we thought – tho’ I have to say my impression was that Mike and I were the UK bulk buyers!  &lt:cheer:ucks to avoid outraged sellers/other buyers>

In the interim, I will risk all and offer a “sniff” testing service!  Not quite as good as an explosive sniffing spaniel – but hey I’m free!
