Way off topic of panties but I’m venting everywhere I can. Anyone consolidate their student loans today? The US Department of Education has been screaming and yelling to let us with federal student loans know that our great friend of the people GW Bush is going to slam us with a huge interest rate hike in July. That’s right, he hasn’t yet been able to throw the old folks out to the gutter by zapping their social security, so he figures he’ll fuck the country’s young people by making it much harder to pay off our student loans. Anyway, the federal consolidation website has been fucked up all day. Server down, pages won’t load, pdf files corrupted, dropped connections, you name it. I realize that today is the last day to consolidate and that the site is getting many more visitors than normal, but for Christ’s sake, they didn’t know this? How about beefing up the hardware and connections on the day that just about every college student in the US will be using the site?! What an absolute bunch of friggin bull shit. Thanks again George for showing us all what a great guy you are. If any asshole reads this that voted for this idiot last november, I have something for you… fu.
