KeymasterMy advice for voting in general is to let the voting script do the work for you. No need to count hours and watch the time. You can go about your business as usual and when you are able to vote, the voting area will open up to you. This will happen to allow you to vote once every 24 hours.
Don’t forget that you need to make your choice in all categories when you vote. In other words, you can’t vote for Seller of the Year click the vote button, and then come back to vote for the next category – once you push the vote button, you won’t be able to do so again until the next day. Once you have voted and you see the thank you for voting page, you can click the continue button. Your vote has been counted but you will continue to see the voting area open until you leave the site and come back. You won’t be able to vote a second time though, if you try it will tell you you have already voted. If you don’t want to wait until you’ve left the site and come back, you can refresh your browser and the voting area will close immediately
Now if you can’t vote at all, that would be a problem. Obviously I see Jazzy’s compliant. Is anyone else having a problem voting?

KeymasterAnna,
I didn’t notice that. The voting is available on any page of the site so the easiest way to solve that problem for the moment is to vote from the home page or other page that doesn’t have the mini chat.

One of my guys said he had waited well over 24 hours and got the ‘no poll available’ thingy like Jazzy, and still has it now. He has only actually voted once, a few hours after it actually opened. Should I tell him to email his votes? Thanks,
Rachy
xxNo, instead tell him to email me at PK@usedpantyportal.com so I can get his details to figure out what is going on in his case. Hundreds of people are voting without incident daily. The problems a few have reported must be due to a particular variable that we’ll have to work out based upon the individual’s situation.

MemberPK, I believe it is only AOL users having this problem. it could be the way AOL’s use of same proxy ip’s. So in effect perhaps a handful of people have been allocated the same IP number as someone else?

So in effect perhaps a handful of people have been allocated the same IP number as someone else?Interesting observation Cindy. If that is the case, disconnecting from the AOL internet connection and then connecting again should reset the IP address possibly alleviating the problem for that day.
