How do other girls deal with the waiting period for buyers? I noticed some girls waiting period is 2 weeks and less. Is there some sort of groove you get into after selling for a while?
September 22, 2007 at 8:26 am #17463AnnaMemberWhat do you mean by groove? Gosh I feel old.
September 23, 2007 at 1:34 am #17466anniMemberHow do you cut down the time it takes for the customer to get their item?
1. customer orders
2. answer the order
3. receive payment
4. send package
5. customer receives packageMy problem is that I get this line of orders that take a month to fill.
I would like it to take less than 2 weeks for a customer to receive their package after I receive payment.
Maybe I’m thinking too much and it all comes down to my abscence the last two months. Maybe if I just get the last few orders out before I accept any more then I should be back in a reasonable amount of time per order.
Unless anyone has any tips, I’ll see how that goes.
I forgot what I was getting at about the whole groove thing. lol. :crazy2:
September 23, 2007 at 8:48 am #17467AnnaMemberSo you’re saying you would prefer a 2 week maximum waiting list rather than a month?
Are your waiting lists based on orders received, or payments received?
You could either refuse orders until your waiting list comes down – but 1 month is not excessive. Cindy used to have 3 month waiting lists but buyers were prepared to wait.
As long as you are honest and upfront about your current waiting time, and buyers still want to order, then allow them. It means you are popular – rejoice!
We’d all like a buyer to receive their order within a couple of days or ordering but we all know that it isn’t going to happen if you’re popular. Some buyers may even prefer a long waiting time because it means that:
a) That you’re popular so you must be good.
b) Waiting for the parcel creates suspense so that when they receive their order they will enjoy it more. Never underestimate ‘foreplay’. 😉I wouldn’t recommend refusing orders because you will get periods of no orders (unless you’re Cindy) which allows you to catch up with your current orders. Plus won’t some of those orders be timewasters anyway with no payment received?
September 23, 2007 at 9:32 am #17468AnonymousGuestI’d love to have a month’s waiting time  Mines currently around 10 days, which leaves me time to wear panties for me in between orders and also rewashing and wearing if I’m not happy with the result.
Don’t knock it AnniSeptember 23, 2007 at 10:25 am #17470jazzyMemberWhy don’t you use a diary to book in orders then you can e-mail each client with the date of his order thus no lost orders.I find it quite exciting to know i have a week or ten days before my order will arrive which makes it more special.
just a thought. smt;) Jazzy  😉
September 23, 2007 at 10:59 pm #17475mikegukMemberI for one don`t mind waiting for any orders that i place as long as i know before hand or as soon as i have place my order. I don`t expect them to be sent within a few days or a week as i know most sellers do have a waiting list.

September 24, 2007 at 11:00 am #17479hotxxxblondeMemberMy current wait time is a little over a month for regular 24 hour wear and no one seems to complain and orders keep rolling in. smt I have a pretty complex calendar and order book set up so I keep track of everything but if you feel like you’d rather take the time to catch up than by all means do what’s good for you!
October 3, 2007 at 9:03 am #17643anniMemberOk, that sounds good. I thought there was some secret because amy’s panties has her waiting time at 4-5 days.
I guess she doesn’t take that many orders:huh:
I better have a place to easily update my current waiting time on my site. *next on the list*
Thanks for the info, I was entering orders into a database but that was way too much effort for a ton of customers that never sent payment.
I think the easiest was to both deal with incomming orders and make sure I remember is to create a folder in my email or something.
I always forget about my period, too. lol. I need to take that into account for my orders, also.
Load off my mind, thanks everyone! 🙂
October 3, 2007 at 9:16 am #17644Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberOk this is how I do it. I have an A4 pad in which each page is one month I column up with each line being a day.
When I get an order form in I pencil in immediately the next available date and let the potential buyer know. I then give him 48 hours to confirm his order. when he confirms that the date and price is all ok I shall tick his name. If he dont confirm I rub him out and someone else snatches that day.
I put the price next to the pencilled name and how they are paying. When that payment comes in I put a red tick next to his name and order info so I know that order is “solid” ie it is paid and fixed. if I am able to wear this order before someone else has paid I will do so, but I usually keep to my routine.
If someone doesnt pay I email them a week or so before and remind them and let them kindly know that I have not received payment and that they have 48 hours to pay or their order will be cancelled on the date it was agreed.Â
As I am usually weeks or months booked out it isnt a problem to do this, but I can imagine if you dont get that many bookings it must be quite infuriating. I know that if someone doesnt pay, it doesnt matter because someone else will jump in their place.
I also incorporate an extra day for each order – just in case I ruin an order or something goes wrong or I can just have a day off 🙂
I dont know where i would be without my A4 pad 🙂

October 3, 2007 at 11:31 am #17649anniMemberThanks so much. I just bought an adorable planner that might be able to work for school and orders, not to mention social functions.
Spectacular idea. Now I have something solid to refer to whenever I need it.
yessss *high five*
