Here’s a thought….
what if we panty sellers got together and split the cost of a decent payment processor….
ie: http://www.imglobalpayments.com/services/uscanada_account.aspx
or even just 2checkout.com or authorize.net
I know it’s far-fetched an unlikely, but it’s a possible solution….
i know i’m dreaming..=)
April 19, 2005 at 11:41 pm #2055cherieMemberThat’s an interesting suggestion Louise 🙂

April 21, 2005 at 7:24 pm #2079darcyspantiesMemberI thought about something like this, but our only problem is, the only way we know a processor is good is if one of us tries it out! It’s a good idea though
April 21, 2005 at 7:41 pm #2080leatherznzpiceMemberSticking my oar in as a buyer so feel free to tell me to butt out :cheer:
I’d think if the processors can’t get there act together as to ‘adult’ related services and merchants and agree what to charge etc. it would be nigh on impossible for lots of sellers to agree too.
There are too many issues and loop holes in the law that allows customers to charge back the money as they cannot guarantee full satisfaction every time on a purchase for worn panties.
In addition you’d have the nightmare of all sellers using one merchant account and I’d think the administration of that would be nigh on impossible.
Nice idea, but I don’t see it taking off 🙁
April 21, 2005 at 9:34 pm #2083wantmypantiesMemberI agree, it’s nearly impossible to do, but if there was a concerted effort and some organization it could be done.
For the time being…what’s the solution?? How do we accept money without the risk of being banned?
April 21, 2005 at 10:08 pm #2087AnonymousGuestIt sucks doesn’t it!
I think everyone is just trying to find a good couple of providors and use them across the board on our sites. I think at the moment the flavour of the month seems to be Nochex for Uk customers and PPPay for everywhere else. PPPay is new so might send us all packing but Nochex seems as solid as a rock, I like em’Â 😉 A lot of customers have it too.
If we all unite in using the same companys then the poor punters won’t have to keep signing up to loads of different procesors. At least then it opens up the chance for customers to shop on lots of different sites instead of just sticking to the ones that accept what they have

April 23, 2005 at 4:19 am #2096wantmypantiesMemberthat is a great idea. If we all offered the same 1-2 services, than all panty buyers would have to do is sign up for those and be able to buy worldwide…
We could create a small image that would let buyers know that we are a part of the group with a link back here (possibly) which would explain what payment is accepted and why.
think this could work?
April 23, 2005 at 5:04 am #2097lynnspantiesMemberSadly neither NoChex or PPPay accept Canadian sellers. I’ve been using YowCow and it’s been going ok, but it’s only been a few weeks. If anyone else knows of something that would work for Canadian sellers I’d love to hear about it. 🙂
April 23, 2005 at 5:31 am #2098wantmypantiesMemberIt’s the best I’ve found!
April 23, 2005 at 1:01 pm #2109cherieMemberAfter a very quick look-over I’d say moneybookers looks interesting.? They have an “erotic” shopping section, so apparantly they’re ok with adult stuff.
But the prices seem awfully high, don’t you think?? 1% on a transaction is good, but eur 3.50 to withdraw (for US accounts) seems like an awfully big chunk out of a $20 panty sale.
Louise, have you actually had any dealings with them?? I notice your site says you take PayPal.
Didn’t somebody on here sign with moneybookers at some point?

April 23, 2005 at 9:04 pm #2113wantmypantiesMemberI’ve signed with Moneybookers and the 3.50 fee is for them to cut you a cheque.
If you want it directly to your bank, you can take it out for 1.80 euros. i agree that it’s a little pricy if you take your money out every time you make a sale, but if you let it build for a wihle, then it’s not so bad.
I like their service a lot actually. The 1% fee is great and you just have to be careful at how often you withdraw funds.
I removed the PayPal reference from the site I believe…I’lll take a look again. It’s moneybookers all the way for me from now on!
Ikobo seems to fail too often.
I’d love to hear other people who have used Moneybookers.
April 24, 2005 at 5:25 am #2115Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberI have a moneybookers account but I havent used them yet. The reason being to send you the money you have in your moneybookers account via bank transfer, they seem to almost want my blood – copies of bills, passport, driving licence?!?!?!
Ill have another look around because it does look as though it would work for everyone universally. 🙂
Love cinds x
p.s. ikobo are getting worse by the month, they are still holding onto 40 dollars in my account and wont let me withdraw it .. probably because when I do they know I will cut up my Ikobo Card lol!April 24, 2005 at 5:57 am #2116Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberI just signed back into my old Moneybookers account and they have streamlined everything. I didnt get asked once to send them any information by fax or post, it could all be done online – so Im guessing that they must have changed their policies, but I did also notice that they will only hold up to a ?1000 for you unless you verify your bank, card and a few other agreements, which is fine.
You just have to be careful that they might mean ?1000 for all time, or just in your account at one time – they are a little sketchy on this – so its always better to go higher than what you might think your turnover will be in your account. (it does add up after a while).
So … Ill have to start testing these guys out and Ill put all my thoughts here … I do like the fact that they accept Oz and Canadian buyers, unlike Nochex and PPPay.
.. could this be “the one” ?!?!!

April 24, 2005 at 3:47 pm #2123SuzieMoonshoeMemberHi all,
I’ve been reading this thread with interest for a few days and just took a lil’ peek at moneybookers.com after reading Cindy’s post, I had looked at it a while ago and was put off by all the information they wanted… but now I think I’ll be giving them a try myself.. I’ve been trying to find somewhere that could accept Australian customers, and they do…! Their withdraw fee doesn’t seem that bad, for me at least, I leave my payments in the accounts for a while in case I ever need to refund.. then I don’t need to wait for the money to transfer back in.. so the total builds up, the withdraw fee looks better! Don’t know till we try I guess..?
Much love, Suzie xx
April 29, 2005 at 7:46 pm #2193wantmypantiesMemberthat’s great! I’m glad people are trying it out. If Moneybookers (or whatever turns out to be the best option) is agreed as a standard,
I think we could set up a central information page which would let panty buyers know that it’s reputable and how easy it is to sign up.
Sort of like Panty Trust but more like Panty Money Trust. :cheer:
