I’ve never once had someone ask to pay me with Greenzap using real cash (not web cash), even though I offer it as a payment option in all my auctions. I believe Western Union moneygrams are expensive (not quite sure the price, but if a purchase is $15-$25 I’m guessing it wouldn’t be worth it.) I’ve heard horror stories about Yow Cow. I can understand the temptation to use Piss Pay, even with the risk of a $500 fine; there quite simply isn’t anything else available that is widely used and reliable.
I am resigned to using mailed payments. The good news is that I’ve a handful of repeat buyers, so I’m going to start sending product even though payment hasn’t been received yet… As return customers I’ll extend a little bit of trust their way, so as to speed the process up (and inevitably get them buying more panties. smt ) There’s been discussion on the Ebanned forums about the costs involved in a merchant account… I don’t do enough sales to warrant that, however.
