I need some input guys.
My panty site is still around and is still doing quite well on Google. It’s far too valuable to dump and it has too much sentimentality for me to do that any way.
I’ve decided to create a buyer’s resource. It won’t rival Panty Hog in any way (ha, as if!). The idea is that a potential panty buyer can read one simple small site and get a good idea of what is out there. I’m planning reviews of
[li]Panty Hog
Ebanned
MUPS
Ebare
Panty Trust[/li]What they are, where to find them, what to expect etc with links obviously for further info.
Advice on how to approach a seller, how and where to ask for what you want, what service to expect, how sellers differ, usual requests, unusual requests…
What to do when things go wrong…
I’m also planning a lowdown on panty rip offs and their usual MO. What to look for, what to avoid etc
The pros and cons of using Paypal
Links to joe’s blogs about scam merchants.
Buyers interviews maybe.
Interspersed amongst all of this will be all my old panty pics.
I’m unsure about links to sellers because we already have PT for PT sellers and PH for all sellers and I don’t fancy maintaining such a huge resource – need to think about that. Maybe just sellers who contribute to PH eh? 😉 I may link directly to PT’s members page and PH’s sellers register for that…*ahem*
I’ll be honest. One of the reasons for doing this isn’t just to show you how fab I am *ahem* but I will also be adding something to the site that may generate some income for me. I’m still working on that one but it will definitely include phone lines.
The site will also be a good resource for sellers I hope.
What does everyone think?
Anything else I should be thinking of?
December 15, 2008 at 8:39 pm #24456summerresMemberlove your idea!
I’d be happy to help if you need it, just let me know how.
*maybe help with some of the tips or something.*
i think the leaving out of the links is a good idea maybe just a link to some of the directories or something.
maybe ideals from a sellers point of view, some basic ideas on how to break the ice for buyers.
also maybe tips on photos for seller…. so many grainy out of focus shots…. i know there’s an awesome article on here about taking photos.:S

LI want the site to be advice for buyers rather than sellers. There is stacks of advice from seller to seller dotted around the net but not much for the buyer.
I’d rather make it easier for a new buyer to avoid the crap and make a successful sale than do all the work for newbie sellers who can’t be arsed to research properly and possibly end up being the half-arsed seller who ends up disappointing buyers because they were in for the cash and not the fetish.
This site would then be just one of the many sources of info for the conscientious seller.
Anything from the seller’s perspective will be from my experience as a seller and as a member of the community. Initially any way. It’s given me some ideas though, maybe some case studies of seller’s perfect buyer, and her nightmare buyer…ta 😛

I think buyer’s ‘needs’ have been neglected a little as the focus seems to be around us sellers the most.
Will have a think about what content might fit the bill and
I’ll will happily help you with some design bits too 🙂Thank you Anna xx
December 16, 2008 at 5:39 am #24461anniMemberSounds amazing, Anna, buyers have definitely been a bit neglected in the information department. Seller’s have it easy by comparison. It sort of sounds like an about.com idea, but for panty buyers.
I can’t wait to see it!
December 16, 2008 at 5:52 am #24464summerresMemberah ok, i misunderstood.
i still wanna help just let me know how.
lDecember 16, 2008 at 12:26 pm #24465AnnaMemberI’m going to need some help with forms I think. I’d like to get some feedback from buyers and some helpful quotes about their experiences of various auction sites and forums.
I might even be cheeky and ask for some site sponsors to cover my hosting costs :givhrt Primo advertising space for sponsor – obviously.
It’s just beginning to dawn on me how much work this might entail
