What's an RSS feed?

I see it on sites all over the place, and I dont have a clue what it is!

Its a way to view forums via a feed. I use feedemon which sits on my desktop and when I open it up I have about 30 blogs and forums that all automatically update and I can sit here with feedemon and read every single post and every single comment in one go.

Its ace.  RSS is the feed that Feedemon for example uses to grab it all 🙂

So if a site has RSS feed capability, that means that they can be added to one of the 30 sites you view regularly? Does that make sense? LOL.

yep 🙂 even sites who dont display the RSS feed you just pop in the url and feedemon will find it automatically (usually). 😉

eBare also has RSS feed so sellers can either directly list their auctions on their own sites as well as buyers being able to view their chosen feeds.  Full explanations on how it works on site
