March 17, 2007 at 2:54 pm #14079AnonymousGuestSooo many good points here!
Yes, Mackenzie, this is a business. I’ve been saying that for years, some people don’t realize that when they get started. Not anyone can run a good business, obviously – whether you’re selling widgets or panties. You gotta be smart, responsible, dedicated, and have a genuine passion for what you are doing.
The beauty of selling panties is, if you get burnt out, you can take a break and usually jump right back in (of course I dont mean you can just ignore emails from customers, etc.). My breaks are only ever a few weeks in length when I do take them.Â
I also think that when girls start selling – and all the emails from the FREAKS start – wanting free shit, crazy shit, etc..that it scares girls away – I actually had a friend start selling a while back and she’d forward some of them to me – I had forgotten what it was like! I think lots of girls are naive – they arent sure what their boundaries are either – what they will and will not do for a buck – and they didn’t decide that up front. They end up doing things they arent really comfortable with, which isnt a good way to start out if you’re gonna stay…
That’s it for now!
March 17, 2007 at 5:15 pm #14089Cindy_PantyParadiseMemberNo, I think the main one is girls assume its easy money. OK you dont need to be a brain surgeon but you should have some intelligence about running a business and customer service etc.
It is ALOT of work, it is a time zapper. I can sit here 3 hours a day and STILL not manage to clear my inbox. It is NOT easy money at all, and I think that most girls start because they think they don’t have to do anything, just wear something they would do anyway. Very, very wrong assumption.
March 19, 2007 at 1:01 am #14164anniMemberwow. i am so glad for this thread.
i can admit that before this thread i believed selling panties was easy money. i have been recking my brain trying to figure out why i haven’t sold anything.
now i know. and i am so ashamed. :embarassed:
i think i have the right frame of mind, now.
i’ve wanted to have my own business since high school when i wrote a full business plan for a candy store i wanted to open…it was going to be called ‘Sugar Rush’. eh?…eh?..
i’m always going through projects which at the time i am completely consumed by, but then get bored and drop it.
i was going to invest in internet kiosks, do crafts and sell them on etsy, volunteer for south by southwest…i even sold homemade bows door-to-door with my friend when we we’re 7 or 8, but got bored before selling them all.
what was my point? geez…where’s my mind?
oh yeah, i definately don’t want to stop doing this. i think i finally found something in which i can showcase all my talents and loves. having a website, owning a business, being the center of sexual fantasies…lol.
thanks so much for everyone’s posts on this topic. i think i’ve found my calling.

March 22, 2007 at 6:28 pm #14404amandamaeMemberI found this to be an interesting thread as well. thank you for posting it. I admit that I am new, but i knew it was not really fast easy money. I got started because do do other adult work as well and got alot of request for panty sales. I thought it was a good way to reach out to people who were already fans. I have learned this is lots of fun!!! To be honest i think i like this more that some of the other stuff I do!!!
I also admit it took me a while to post in the forums, even though i have been a member here for a little bit… but that was mainly because i did not notice them right away. (How i missed it I will never know… it was right in front of my face….)
So anyway thank you again for this thread… i hope to not become one of those who are gone in 6 months or less…
