Okay
I cant understand why someone would not read an auction completely before comitting to buy.Someone bought out my listing for a pink thong, I emailed them with the following
“I’ll need to know…* How strong you like them scented
* Where you’d like things sent to, along with a name you’d like so the items come to you and no one else
* When you’d like them sent (if certain days of the week are bad for you)
* If there are any special outfits you’d like me to wear along with the picturesAs you are in the US it’ll be easier and cheaper for you to pay via amazon.co.uk vouchers. “
On the listing it clearly says that people can pay via credit cards, debit cards OR amazon.co.uk vouchers.
But he wrote to me in reply to say “Can u send pic to a cell phone? I would buy them if u could. And i want to pay with cash if i can”
I wrote back a little annoyed but said
“When you look at the auctions it says the methods of payment open to you. Please please please look at that in future. I cannot accept cash. Are you able to pay via amazon? If it was online banking you’d have a £15 charge as its International payments, thats why Amazon.co.uk vouchers are listed. I do not list cash on this auction”Â
Its true, no where on the auction does it mention Cash.
He said he can only send cash and do I have anything I could sell for cash. There is an option to ask a seller a question.
Why oh why oh why would anyone buy an item without looking at the item, looking at the payment methods OR asking a question when the auction site allows them to?I’ve relisted the item, and put a disclaimer on the top. I am not going to leave negative feedback for this buyer (or at least I dont want to have to) but I will in future for anyone that doesnt properly read a listing and proceeds to buy out an auction like this.
January 3, 2008 at 9:13 pm #19140PonygirlMemberHmmmm, how annoying. I have had a few problems like that with auctions, which is why I haven’t listed anything lately. The best though was the guy who won some panties and then sent me a message to say that he had changed his mind and didn’t want them, but could I send him a pot of poo or possibly a video of me eating my own poo instead!! Jeez…Â  :idiot2:
January 3, 2008 at 10:20 pm #19141PiercedPantiesMemberI’ve never sold anything at auction, but I have had so many requests for cash payments and other unreliable sources from my website, even though there is a clear section on payment on my FAQ page. One guy kept persisting with cash offers, until I just had to ignore him.Â
Either their illiterate (unlikely, since they can e-mail) or just plain stupid!! :idiot2:

xxxJanuary 3, 2008 at 10:41 pm #19143adminKeymasterAs jazzy says…it is nice to be nice. I have heard from a couple of men who have not bought from auctions before but are willing to give it a go here. While there are always some who don’t care to read, some may just be new to the situation so please make sure you give people the benefit of the doubt before assuming the worst. You don’t want to scare someone away from buying who might have legitimately misunderstood.
By the way Fetishkitten, you can link to your store with just your username like this: http://www.pantybid.com/auctions/stores/fetishkitten
Thanks!
PKJanuary 3, 2008 at 10:45 pm #19144FetishKittenMemberThanks for the response PK
And as I said, I wont give him negative feedback over this.
I did explain to him, and he just instead kept asking about what I had for sale in cash even though I told him a few times I dont accept cash for anything.I dont want to scare people away, but I want to make people aware that they need to be cautious and read listings before bidding
January 3, 2008 at 10:51 pm #19146mikegukMemberComing in here but a little off topic. Regarding cash payments. I will be posting about that subject on my blog tomorrow, so i wont go into details here just yet, but all i will say is that it will be to the advantage and help to all UK sellers.
MikeJanuary 3, 2008 at 11:46 pm #19147adminKeymasterFetishkitten,
I didn’t necessarily mean to address your particular situation, I’m not worried about you or anyone in this thread for that matter, I’m sure that you all handle situations like these fairly. I just wanted to put my two cents in so that if a new seller reads the thread, they make sure to consider that a person may be new to buying.

January 4, 2008 at 3:47 am #19156AnonymousGuestUltimately, it’s really annoying. That information is in the listing for a reason…read it.
I’d be irritated too.
I think sometimes people are thinking with the wrong body part when they’re looking at the auction, and don’t bother to read the whole thing. :crazy2:
January 4, 2008 at 9:28 am #19161SerenaMemberThat’s a shame Kez… a sale gone walkies isn’t a nice feeling 🙁
I’m sure there will be plenty more… till then, just assume that people can’t read till they proof you otherwise!
January 4, 2008 at 7:39 pm #19171jazzyMemberI know you ladies get some trouble from guys looking for freebies but sometimes you may get a brand new buyer who isn’t sure what he wants or knows what to ask so do take care you don’t lose a potential customer, assume the best and see what happens.Sorry about any Nutters you do get but there’s a new man out there somewhere.
Best wishes to all. smt;) Jazzy  😉
