Has anyone here purchased a pair of panties from Amy Lockheart at http://www.amyspanties.com?  Reason I am asking is cause I am thinking of doing so but she isn’t on ebanned or known here openly and I wanted to know what people thought of her as a panty seller.

Never heard of her but here’s who owns her site: DAZZLE MANAGEMENT, INC. Kind of makes you wonder if a real girl named “Amy” even exists. More likely the site uses photos of some model and then just makes the panties to send out.

I wouldn’t use the registrants details as a mark against her. If I could do the same then I would have and I’m legit. In this business girls have to guard their details, as do the customers, so it’s not good to hold it against them. It could be simply that she has the good sense to cover her own back, after all privacy of information is essentially dead on the internet.

She might be the owner of Dazzle Management. Web designers use thier co names to register, doesn’t mean anything really, just that she doesn’t want her information aired. And rightly so me thinks.

Fair enough, but in this case, the company is the holder of the documentation records. I would suggest that if girls do this for privacy that they think up something more personal than registering as corporation. The reason is that if it is listed as being owned by a corporation, how can buyers possibly make the distinction as to whether they are buying from an independent girl next door wanting privacy or from a big porn company looking to make a few bucks by adding panty sales to their stable of sites?  For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t buy from that site because there is no way to tell.

I presume you’ve got Amy’s details off a domain register?

The details have to be accurate or you don’t get to keep the Domain. The address and name have to be correct and I can’t imagine approaching my mom and saying “Mom, can I register my panty site at your address so I don’t look so dodgy?” without raising a few suspisions.

With .coms you’re forced to have your address and name displayed unless you have a good excuse. Having an adult site isn’t classed as a good excuse. Since girls cough up for PO BOX’s to hide their ID’s it’d be pretty pointless if your details were that accessible. Hence company ID’s being the perfect legitimate way (I think) around that stupid intrusive law.

I don’t think that everyone uses them a verification method, and to be honest, it was the last thing that came to my mind as I registered my domain. I think those registrant details need to satisfy the girls need first. It’s a bit of a flimsy way of sealing someone’s lagitimisy, the only reason mine isn’t that way is because I don’t know any company owners. Lots of girls use alternative addresses and register using company and spouses names. More than you know. I think it’s standard practice. If it’s a toss up between looking a little iffy and having a crazy stalker living in a tent on my front lawn, then I’m happy to look a little iffy  😛

Most panty girls would be off bounds if it were down to registrant details being spot on. Personally I hate those lists, I don’t think they should be allowed.

No, I didn’t look up the domain details, I looked at her 227 notice and order area. I’m not disputing in any way your suggestion that girls need privacy. What i’m saying here is that there are still plenty of professional porn companies selling “dirty” panties and just using some photos of a model that they bought somewhere to lead buyers to believe that the panties are coming from her when of course the girl in the photos has nothing to do with the site.

If the site says something like send your money for the panties to Megaporn Company, Inc. P.O. Box …..I don’t think you can blame the buyer for hesitating.

    Hi Andie

I’m very new to this site and the panty thang but I thought everyone use the Panty Trust as a way of gaining confidence in this community?

If a girl is Panty Trust verified then it means she’s sent a pair of panties, and a photo of her in the same panties, to prove it is HER advertising panties on HER site.

Isn’t that a better way of gauging how genuine a girl is instead of how her site is registered?

Here in the UK, we use co.uk that means we don’t have to put down any of those details 🙂 that you do with a .com address. Phew!

    about the domains:
    ___________________
you can pretty much make up your own address if you like when you are registering your domain. with 100s of thousands of domains registered each week there is no real checking.

second, I have to say that when you register a domain — from a well known registrar at least — you have the opiton to hide your info from whois. I registered mine from godaddy and checked that option.

for example melisa and I have our own website and the results from a whois source shows &quot:cheer:ohmy:mains by Proxy, Inc.”

    http://www.whois.sc/sock-girl.com

that means your dont want to reveal your info.

now, if you were a commercial company selling stuff with a vaild tax id and all that stuff, its probably not a good idea to hide your info but since our website is not commercial in any way it was perfectly fine for me to hide my info.
