    You’re kidding right?

You have two pics of your thongs. Those pics have clearly been taken off the net, I’m guessing from some online shopping site for underwear. Most girls take pics of their panties laid out on their bed.

You have a brief video of some girl massaging her tits. You could have taken this off the net.

You don’t however have a pic of you WEARING the thongs…This helps with sales by encouraging buyers.

But you do accept Paypal  Seriously dodgy.

Try selling one thong at a time using a pic of you wearing them – then we will know for sure that you are at least a little bit genuine.

most certainly they would not Mayer!

Professional Panty sellers don’t (or at least shouldn’t) share clients/sellers private business. Discretion and privacy are the key to what we do.
I’m sure that Mary and PG would tell me where to go if I asked them personal stuff about you. 😡
And I would do the same!

    Great bike idea tho :S

I’m fairly sure that Meyer didn’t mean ask PG and Mary about him literally. It is just a figure of speech.

What about sites that have lapsed payment like my old url? I see it up there but how do I change it?

You can only change it if you have access and I suppose you can only have access whilst the payments are uptodate.

Dunno Anni, might be too late now.

I posted this on a pro-domme forum a while back so it’ll refer to PDs obviously but it is just as valid for panty sellers.

The links won’t work because I have just copied and pasted it from the other forum.

    Hello Ladies

Some of you may already know this…so apologies if I’m suggesting that you suck eggs.

As you all know there have been an awful lot of outings recently in the Press. I have the horrible feeling that the Max Mosely exposé has increased the profile of Dominatrices and we may get some more attention.

I know of a couple of people on IC who have reported some very strange requests for sessions…and have subsequently pulled their £ profiles.

Also our Lady P has been subject to some unwanted attention.

Threat or actual exposure usually results in the Mistress taking down her website. Unfortunately all this does is protect your bandwidth from rubberneckers. It doesn’t protect your privacy.

    For example:
Mistress Abi (the PD who exposed Max Moseley) – [old link] This online newspaper refers to an internet archive. http://www.archive.org/index.php They describe how they have accessed her site and her images using it to report on her words.

Want to see Mistress Abi’s site? Any one of those dated links will take you to her site after every update. Sometimes the photos will have broken links, sometimes they will still be there for people to identify you…or print in the rags.

Edit – curiously the week after I posted this Mistress Abi’s site had a robots.txt added

Pop your own url in at the top of that page and see your own site in all its reinventions.

    To explain

Wayback uses a robot to access your site and take copies of all your pages and images. It then archives it after 6 months or so. To stop this robot we need to send up a file so that the robot knows to ignore our site. It *will* ignore it. This file will also delete any pages already archived.

You can prevent this. For example:

    My site – http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.ladyanna.co.uk

    😀

If I get a sniff of exposure I can pull my site and *nobody* can then access my materials…unless of course they did it all before …but how many journos would think we know how to protect ourselves… 😉

This is what you need to do.

    1. Create a .txt file.
You do this by opening up Notepad. Notepad is found via Start – All Programs – Accessories – Notepad.
Once open you need to copy and paste this into the window.

    User-agent: ia_archiver
    Disallow: /

Save your text file as ‘robots’ (check this, it has to be robots.txt, I was wrestling with robot.txt for ages) and save it into your website folder on your harddrive.

Using your FTP agent you need to send up this robots.txt file to the same folder that your index.html file is in. Your index file is the first page someone gets when they enter your url. You may have named it home.html for example.

    That’s it.

To check it works go back to Wayback and submit your url. You should get a nice exclusion screen.

If you get stuck, give me a poke.

Oh, one thing. This advice is for those who have their own independent sites. I don’t use moonfruit for example so I don’t know how you can send a .txt file up to them.

    Hope this helps

I’ve had one of these on my Pro-domme site for a long time now. In fact I reckon most sellers should have one too – just in case.

Dubya x2 – what WERE you thinking???

PS American football my arse. You’re the only country to wear excessive protection when playing sport. Haven’t you seen rugby and Australian rules football? Them’s MEN’s games. Blood, bruises and broken bones is part of the game! :woohoo:

Im sure it is invaluable but it not a prerequisite or requirement.

Dont have time to run a business? I do 50-60 hours week working in business (as well as study), I work in medical capital sales and one of the instruments I sell go for about 70k a pop, so I know full well how to operate in business.

But I keep seeing the phrase ‘running a business’ bandied about, so all you guys are all self employed, declaring panty earnings and paying income tax/NI to the IR then? Blimey, there was me thinking it was a side line. Just something to up the income.

Now, I can feel serious mistrust and quite frankly childish behavior of 2 members from here checking up on me with my panty email is laughable.

And as for save myself the trouble? Yeah, youre right, I think the best thing for all is for admin to remove all traces of me from your little empire as noobies are clearly not welcome here.

    Night night all x

You do 50-60 hours work and study? Sorry, but you really don’t have time to run a panty business 🙁 If you know how to operate in business why have you set up in a new business venture before researching to find out about the market? It makes no sense.

Just because we don’t pay tax doesn’t make this any less of a business. We still provide a service, we still have customers, we still have to deliver the optimal product with added value wherever possible. No need to be snarky now is there?

So two members have contacted you by email? Where is the problem? I assume they were potential buyers no?

Newbie sellers are usually very welcome, particularly those who accept that fact that they know nothing but if they hang around and get to know the BUSINESS they will learn how to be successful at that BUSINESS from sellers who are more experienced and knowledgeable than them. For goodness sake, we were all newbies once and one of the most common statements about this site is how much experienced sellers help the newbies!

You have asked if Panty Bid is free despite the site being swamped with NO FEES info.

You have recommended Photobucket for adult hosting despite not realising that they don’t allow adult content.

You have asked the dumbest questions about Paypal despite the information being freely available in a million places that it is NOT okay for adult transactions.

You appeared to assume that it was a legal requirement to join Panty Trust! What planet are you on!?

You have somehow managed to rub up everyone in a bad way, more than most newbie sellers ever…!

For a post-grad student you have shown a woeful lack of research and as a salesperson a worrying lack of appreciation and awareness of our greater knowledge…in this BUSINESS.

Perhaps panty selling just isn’t for you.

eh… live and learn. What paying service or method do you guys suggest I use? I’m just so use to Paypal but, they aren’t going to be in my corner when it comes to this sort of thing.

thanks again all. This really is a fantastic bunch and you’re all making me feel quite welcome.

    :S

It’s really up to the seller what types of payment she is willing to accept. As a buyer you then need to decide if you can use those payment methods. The only online payment processor you can use is Alertpay, after that you are looking at money orders and online gift certificates.
