I’m completely stumped. It’s not as though I can hear them and they can hear me coming so I imagine they just wriggle away.

The dogs aren’t giving any hint or indication where they may be 🙁

Assuming they survive that long I’ll just have to wait it out until winter and hope they migrate to the boiler or the hot water tank.

Until then I’ll keep doing a head count on the hamsters.

Snakes don’t need to kill their own food PRH. Captive bred snakes are brought up on dead mice so they don’t know any different.

It’s illegal in the UK to feed live food like mice or rats, and I wouldn’t do it anyway.

I have two corn snakes.

I have a snake house that looks like a boulder with a hole in it. I have put a dead mouse in it so the dogs can’t get it.

Unfortunately the snakes aren’t falling for that ruse.

I’ll just have to wait until I can hear the screams next door 🙁

So, you’re getting your Masters’ degree then? In the United States, a lot of people who pursue the sciences enter a Ph.D. program without going through the Masters’. No, I’ve got my first degree, my dissertation was on the female voice.

This month I am starting my PhD but as a 1+3 as my supervisor says nobody should do a PHD over only 3 years. So I’ll be doing a M.Phil for the first year as preparation for the actual PhD. That way if I do decide not to pursue the PhD I’ll get the Masters and only have two degrees.

Sorry to disappoint but my PhD won’t be on anything BDSM related. Unfortunately. I’ll be staying with the voice. The UK isn’t very open to anything to do with BDSM as everyone can see with the Max Moseley case that is currently gracing our law courts.

Yep…it’s a head scratcher.

If I leave food out the dogs will eat it.

The house is already warm because it is summer.

The snakes are only small, one is 3 foot, the other is only 18 inches, so they can get anywhere.

My house is a huge Victorian terrace with FOUR floors and lots and lots of gappy skirting boards and original floorboards.

The dogs are trained to seek out small furry animals (the escaped hamsters are never loose for long).

I have no idea what the snakes will feed on (probably escaped hamsters).

I don’t know whether I should warn the neighbours on each side.

I suspect the dogs would catch and chew the snakes 🙁

Yes, I have been to the home page since it was lightened and I still have problems with it. I often get script errors. A warning window comes up and tells me that there is an error in the script and asks me if I want to continue.

I have two pooters, my laptop and my desktop. My older desktop can’t cope with SL or the home page on here, I use my laptop for SL when I can get it off my daughter.

I have to do what Jazzy does. I use my history to skip straight to the forums.
