    heheh thanks Ozzy 🙂

Hi Anna – I use Abbey too and they really are fabulous.  SWIFT or IBAN numbers are quick and easy but just make sure that you ask your customer to check his bank fees too before asking him to transfer – like Ozzy said, banks enjoy to make easy money and if its not your bank making from the transaction, it will be the customer’s.

Again, for European countries (yes the UK is in the EU despite not having Euro yet) – just ask the customer to check with his bank first as the transfer from Euros to Pounds might incurr charges.

If you live in the UK then a PO Box is probably the best and safest option to receive cheques etc., for those that do not wish to do a bank transfer – however, it doesnt help with oversees payments – Abbey told me a while ago that they charge £30.00 just to handle a US Dollar Check!

Hi .. sorry I havent been around folks, ive been really poorly with a crap flu bug. A huge massive heartfelt, WELCOME to all the newbies by the way and thanks to all those peeps that sent me “Get well soon” emails.  smt

OK Bank Transfer is the same as a Bank Wire and any bank should be able to sort it out, however, the rather large downside to this is that banks can charge really silly amounts to carry out a transfer to a bank in another country or having another currency.

The second annoying thing about using this method is that the receiving bank can also whack on an additional massive fee when receiving another currency – so out of a 20 pounds transfer, the customer in the USA may have to pay 60 dollars in fees and your bank might charge you anywhere between 5-25 pounds.  You will have to find out what is best for you and your client, and in which currency the transfer should be sent.

So … just check with your banks before proceeding.  I live in Europe and have both a Sterling Pounds account and also a Euro Bank account so its very easy living here, however, I have never received a bank transfer from the USA because of the fees and I usually stick to gift certificates or wish list items – at least until a suitable payment processor can be realised. 🙂

Welcome again to all the newbies who have recently joined.

    Hi Kitty 🙂

I always had a problem with the Pill too – and I tried almost every damn variety going! But only discovered my IUD living in Germany.  After being pregnant twice in succession I got used to not having periods and I couldnt face it every month knowing it would be worse.

I tried this IUD with some trepidation but its the best thing I have ever had.  I tried the cap years ago after coming off the pill but for some reason I couldnt climax with it in and I couldnt stand all the shoving it up and pulling it out – the damn thing used to spring everywhere and it was such a bugger to get in, covered in slippery spermicide – it would either shoot inside you at 100mph and make you yelp or fire across the room like a dome shaped bullet! *guys stop reading and laughing – I can see you!*

OK The stick is not really a stick, its more of a “chip” lol.. It hasnt come over to America yet – my friend had to fly to Germany to get hers changed last week! (she lives in North Carolina).  The chip is very small, rather like a 1cm long matchstick and thats it. 🙂

The hormone IUD I have is not like the pill, chip or jab and does not push hormones around your blood stream.

My IUD contains only a “topical” hormone and stays only in the uterine area and just stops the build up of lining – you still ovulate and an egg can still get fertilized however the egg will not be able to attach itself to the walls of your uterus because there will be no lining there (because of the hormone has prevented the lining build up).  The egg will just be passed out naturally.

The hormones in the IUD do not interfere with your body in any other way, so if you have had problems with the pill like me then you should be alright with the hormone IUD.

The great thing about this is that if it DOESNT work for you (however you MUST give it a while to calm down) then you can have it taken out at anytime.  If you have the jab or something and it doesnt agree with you, you have a slight problem.

..why are the guys insisting on torturing themselves and reading all about girl’s bits? eh? eh? eh? lol

HAHAH I laughed so hard 🙂 … dont panic .. it goes in your arm heheee

in reply to: Question For The Girls! #6392

Yes thats another idea Kacie or in Europe you can get a small “stick” that sits under your skin (about 1cm long) and lasts for up to 3 years I think.  However, these do contain hormones similar to the pill, which doesnt personally suit me – my friend has the “stick” and she loves it, although its a bit painful to put in, its quick but quite a jab evidently.

    Hi Kitty  **GUYS GO AWAY**

10 years means that it does not contain the topical hormone so yes you would still bleed.  The hormone ones only last 3-5 years maximum and then you would need to get it changed.  You would know instantly when the hormone isnt working anymore as you would start spotting between 3-5 years.

After you have had children the lining build up (endometrium) is much more than a woman with no children and your periods can become heavier and more painful.

With a topical hormone IUD it literally sheds all this lining away and leaves your uterus endometrium-free and prevents any further build up, hence no more periods.

Some people say this can be bad but I personally think that the pill is worse!

Besides having a period-free life is wonderful – I cannot remember the last time I bought tampax hahaaa

I would go chat with your docs and see if there is anything they can do – I would inquire about changing your IUD because it sounds as though this one doesnt agree with your body.  I actually think that your body is trying to expel it every month, which may be why you are having so much pain.

in reply to: Rant of the Day! How to avoid deadbeat bidders #6361

Hi Lady C .. I hope you dont mind me putting my “peanuts” worth in LOL

Yes, there are a few guys out there purely after freebies, unfortunately, and that is why girls wont part with goods or too many pics before they see payment.

However, most potential buyers are just trying to make sure that you are actually the girl they are buying from.  Its people like that guy openly selling home-made used panties under 9 or so different profiles on Ebanned and Ebare that really damages the community and makes buyers even more wary about trying new girls.

Once you are fully Panty Trust Verified (yeah try and get round that one fake-wits :P) – then buyers will be far more relaxed about buying from you and will not make you jump through so many hoops to prove who you are.

But now and again, there is always one or two buyers who mess girls around, and its usually the newbies they try it with because they know that they are not quite as experienced in spotting a “deadbeat” than perhaps some of the girls that have “been there, seen that” 🙂

    Good luck Lady C xx

I would post this in the 411 as well – threats dont go down too well in this industry and dont worry we are all here to give him a bashing if he tries anything … but seriously what could he do?

Stick him on ignore and reply to his last email saying that you are no longer in the business as you have:

    A) run off with a millionaire
    b) been abducted by aliens
    c) just cant be assed to deal with fuckwits

😉 Keep us posted Tiff – we are all behind you!

…Oh hey I just thought – maybe Judy might be interested in dealing with him? Why not recommend her – certainly save her some time in fishing for business! … hmm actually dont waste your time, she’s probably emailed him already from your post  :cheer:

    Hey Jules
It depends what kind you get. Avoid the cheap copper ones at all costs.

Also I think most doctors will refuse to insert one if you have not had children before, so he might just be putting you off.

My IUD is called a Mirenna or something like that and looks like a small white plastic “T”.  It just contains a topical hormone so you dont have any crap raging around your whole blood stream.   However, it did cost me around 1000 euros so its not a cheap solution – but then it does last for 5 years!

The topical hormone only stops the build up of lining in your uterus hence you dont get periods.. as my doctor explained to me .. “where there is no earth the trees cannot grow” lmao.

I have to admit the first 6-8 months are challenging after having one inserted for the first time. Quite a bit of stabbing pains and bleeding. But if you stick with it then I have to say it was well worth it and I really would never change to anything else as I have not had any problems whatsoever with it or any further side effects since the initial “calming down” time. 😉

    Love Cinds
p.s. Guys I know you are reading this and thinking Oh YUK – but what are you doing here anyway? .. this is the girly room – so shame on you for spying and being nosey! hehehee

..and WELCOME MI 🙂 .. I DO love that avatar pic of you by the way.

Us girls should stick together in a crisis – you get to know the rotten eggs in the industry and Mi is definitely not one of them.

Was I originally wrong in posting here? No, I dont think so because it was a serious offence – but as you can see me and “Mi” have become good friends through this, so it just goes to prove that honesty really does pay in the long run 🙂

May your site be a success Mi – and please just shout for help when you need it, you can trust almost all the people here for honest advice and help.
