Well this is often the case that there is two sides to every story. I just find it sad that some people feel compelled to write things in the Forum, when it may not be fully justified.

So, well said Donna – I can’t believe you only just saw it!? Which has now made me realise that in future I feel that if there is any negative feedback towards a seller, then either PK or the moderators should contact the seller and inform them about it.? That way it gives the seller a chance to also put her side of the story accross.

However, the bottom line is, these sorts of issues should be sorted out privately between a seller and a client and should not really be brought out for the rest of the community to take sides.

Only if a buyer has felt as though he has genuinely been ripped off by a seller and has tried to sort it out privately first but with no luck, then that may be the time to make a post.

Personal views or feelings that don’t relate to a sale should be kept to yourself.? So if you have a personal problem with another seller or a site or a buyer – just ignore them – they won’t always go away but you don’t need to associate yourselves with them either.

I agree the lengths we have to go to for Google are ridiculous, however I was a PR 5 a little while ago but dropped to a 4.? No idea why that was as I didnt do anything different.? So yes its possible to get a higher PR but to be honest PR doesnt seem to do or mean much anyway!

Well I cant take any credit for what you have done.  All I sent you was a basic table layout with colours to show you the HTML.  I didnt realise you were already so knowledgeable or I would have given you more challenging things to play around with.

You have done absolutely fantastic.  I love it when new girls come on to the scene and start learning html and building their sites … reminds me of when I began and its so exciting!

Well my dear dont be too upset when hoards of people dont come rushing to you from here.  Just because people don’t worship the same God you do or follow the same path does not mean they will have eternal damnation – that is just stupid immature, closed minded talk. 

Please go and help the starving children in Africa or try and stop real evil – visit some prisons with the hoards of murderers, kiddie fiddlers and rapists – then you can pat yourself on the back and say “yeah Im actually helping”.

Enjoying panties really is a very small minded view of what you class as evil. Open your eyes and go do some good.  I spend my life giving to others and making peoples lives better – maybe you should try a little compassion and not assume you are right or better than anyone else.

Thankfully I dont have a TV for programmes (need sky where I live and havent gotten around to getting the setup), so I just watch DVDs but I have seen that frog a friends house on MTV .. very annoying even when I was tortured by the thing for 5 mins on a motorbike!  Do people really want that as ring tone?

Ok .. well two things .. PR doesnt seem to have much weight to be honest.? Im a PR4 and my site has been listed as number 1 in the Dmoz Google Used Panties Directory for months – however I am not placed at number 1 for search terms.

Also, google seems to have a “sandbox” time.? For all new sites, they tend to index them and the googlbot visits you and gives you a PR for each page, however your site might not show up in the actual Search Engine Listing for months.  Its almost like a test to see if your site changes, moves, whatever… its their way of making sure your site isnt just a 5 minute farce.

Please dont ask me how Google works – they are a God unto their own.? Just when I think that Google loves something I did, it then turns around and kicks me up the bum 😛

The PR link thing I personally think was Googles biggest mistake – there is nothing worse than thinking my site looks like a link farm, along with all the others sites who swop links because they feel almost forced into doing so just to try and raise their PR (which as I have proved evidently means jack-shit anyway!)

Oh the joys of being webmistresses and webmasters … certainly keeps us on our toes tho eh?

Google is worth it but it has taken me years to get on the front page and even that moves around depending on googles mood lol!

Dear Pantylkr.  I had to move your post to General discussions because as you have only stated your opinion and not your experience, it didnt warrant the topic being in the rip-off warning section.

Sites link with many other sites for many reasons.  I have personally not heard anyone’s actual buying experience with the site you mention so I prefer to remain non-judgemental.

I think that if any browser decides to click on another link within a site they should always bear in the mind that you are visiting a site which has nothing to do with the original one you clicked from.

I have a warning on my page that states that I cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices or the merchandise my link partners may provide. That is up to the browser to decide to visit or not, and if they personally do not feel comfortable at another site for various reasons, then there are plenty more sites out there to browse and find someone they feel more at home with.

As webmasters/webmistresses we have to remain non-judgemental because without any proof or reports of bad experiences with other sellers or sites – I am afraid that personal opinions cannot always be taken into consideration when linking back to people.

I think geocities are quite hot on the adult profiles and will make people log in to verify their age before viewing your site.  However, i would lay off the explicit stuff as I dont think Yahoo will like that too much.

As for minors accessing your site, theres not much you can do about it. If they want to find it they will find it one way or another.  You dont need to be pornographic to sell your panties – just sexy 🙂

From what I can remember Geocities do actually have templates ready for you to use.  I havent used them for ages but Im sure one or two other girls here who have used them could give you some pointers.

Once you have grasped a little understanding of html .. it really isnt that hard :-).. but you need know a  little so you can mess around with it easier 🙂
