I think your site’s beautiful.
Do what takes your fancy Mel. It’s the only way to stay unique. The world would be a boring place if we were all the same.

Delicious_JessMemberStupidly off topic, but shamefully I had to Urban Dictionary the word Limey! Made me laugh on what equates to a pretty shite day anyway.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=limey&page=1
I’m a Brummy and live in the West Mids by the way. We have the highest concentrate of antique panties in the UK! Fabulous!! You laugh now but these old cruddies will make me my millions, just watch.

Brit definition of Limey B****rdAn insult from an American railed at a British person for often trivial matters such as not conforming to their spellings, such as “colour/color”. This is done without taking into consideration that the American spelling is just a regional variation, and that the British can’t be incorrect because it is the land where the English language was conceived and the first people to speak it.
“You limey b******s can’t spell color right!”American definition:
Stupid English People.Damn limey b******s! They spell color wrong!
[hr]Delicious_JessMemberWhile there’s no one law against panty selling it is against Royal Mails terms to send them (and most other non uk co’s)as they are recognised as a Biohazard. Biohazardous stuff is (legally) sent in safe boxes here, which makes sense. It protects Mr Postie from accidents.
If your country allows it but you send them in to a country that doesn’t then we’re breaking the law. When you fib on the declaration form you’re breaking the law. Asia and such do not like panties coming across the border. It’s illegal in China I believe. I think they passed a specific law on it.
Like I say there’s not one specific law against it but if you really look in to I’m sure we violate plenty of little laws. It pees some panty sellers off to hear this but it’s good to be info savy. To be completely legal you need to hand deliver. Lovely for the gent but would cost a bit in petrol!! 🙁

Delicious_JessMemberThe first time I tried upper case I was in the forum without panty hog. Logged out tried again and now both upper and lower case work fine. I can see the mini chat just fine too.
Delicious_JessMember*sigh*
I’ve done an “Asseater” and “red staplered” (purified) my post accordingly, it’s all welcoming roses and PC sweetness so not to offend. (unless you’re Paypal of course)
smt
Delicious_JessMemberNope, I wasn’t being funny about Paypal.
My opinions on them were formed before I became an adulter and I’ve never used them for my panty site. They have huge amounts of complaints, shoddy/non existant customer service and masses of court cases from customers who’ve been scammed and lost money. It’s hugely publisised the problems that they’ve had. There’s websites dedicated to those that have fell fowl to them on the net, that’s never a good thing. My account was closed long ago (by me) so yes, I and many others I know do not trust them with their money. Their standards and customer service is appauling and they are indeed a devious establishment (perfect word :cheer:)
I agree they are closely watched and I believe they’ve been succesfully sued many times. Even they aren’t bullet proof with their immense size and indeed do prove to not follow the rules, proven by the fact they are sued by customers.
I’ve never held money within my online accounts for long so never fear losing it to be honest. It’s rare that any co holds your money, especially as a buyer (it’s transfered from your bank) so losing money is hard as a buyer. Sellers are in more danger tbh. The shorter the time my money spends online the better, it’s safer in my account (and more enjoyable ;))
Although I understand you not wanting to use processors (I remember being dubious too) I don’t think it’s nice to essentially say don’t trust them enough to keep your money with them. I believe they’ll make every effort to look after us and at the mo there’s no reason to think otherwise, as opposed to Paypal who give me oodles of reasons not to. Just my opinion though and I’m strict on who I use.

Delicious_JessMemberSubJohnny, a few of my gents feel the same about online processors but you should consider that it is within Ebares interests to keep the online auction/adult payment world afloat. I’m sure they invest heavily in to this processor and indeed their auction site. If it goes nipples up then they’ll be out of pocket too. The last thing they want to do is shoot themselves in the foot.
I don’t know about finance, but I’m sure they’ve plenty of rules end regs implemented by their backing banks etc. I understand why some don’t trust online banking though. It’s a scary thing. I think your statement about only using what you can lose is extremelly premature though. No seller uses a payment processor lightly. We all invest a lot of time investigating them and I for one would rather trust my money with ebare than paypal. Try not to knock their efforts before you’ve seen what they offer.
Ebare I’m looking forward to it. Nice work.
smt
Delicious_JessMemberExactly Anna!
You said it in a nutshell hun. But it’s the nature of the beast. Kind of out of sight out of mind I guess. If the company can get money out of us without complaints, charge backs or anyone drawing attention to the fact they’re profoundly “adult” then most let it fly. Problem is (Like PPPay) we all flock upon the same companies. Some don’t want to be tainted as mainly adult processors so call time on us. Or their bank slaps the back of their hands, bumps a load of charges on them and force them to drop us. (Like Nochex) Nochex loved being openly Adult, their backing bank didn’t.
You can get by using mail and online banking. Guys roll with the punches and if they want panties then they have to go with the flow like we do. But saying that most choose online payments over others given the choice so they’re still desirable. I think we all realise that most processors are a temp patch….but a nice one while they last 😉
Most processors would have a party if we boycotted them :cheer: The clever among us realise that the adult industry is a great money spinner, it’s just battling public & bank opinion that’s the problem. Damn prudes! 😛

Delicious_JessMemberKaren got the nail on the head. I’ve never heard of Opay but chances are if they do not like pornography then Panty selling’s going to be a No-No soon too and should be avoided. Panty selling is taboo and generally not as accepted as porn. If they don’t have good chargeback protection then they’ll boot you off, especially if you’re being reported. Panty selling is expensive and very high risk for company to handle.
Who reports you? The world and his neighbour, prudes, religious nuts, nasty rivals, sad people with too much time, the moocher you said couldn’t have free pics…..Welcome to panty selling. :cheer: I’ve never heard of auctions reporting people though  The auction owners I know are too busy to faf around and be that babyish and they use the same payment methods we do. It’s a bit suicidal, don’t you think?

Delicious_JessMemberHey Lady C,
Awww, I didn’t think you were rude hun. 😉 Big thumbs up for getting verified, hope it helps to stop the free loaders.
I used to stumble upon a couple of freeloaders when I auctioned but they were rare. I’ve heard that ebare are always willing to play the middle man (or woman) should a guy scam you, not pay or pester the girls. Hopefully over time word will get round that it’s not tolerated and they’ll move on. It’s all part and parcel though I think. If you’ve a Blog and it has free pic then you can easily say an outright NO to free pics as you’ve already suplied some on your Blog and you’re verified. Sorted! 😛
I’m hugely strict about that kind of stuff, I guess to some it might look mean, but it works, I’m never asked.
Ps: Show us your Blog!! I’m nosey :cheer:

Delicious_JessMember“Maybe someone should give you an award.”
I don’t know if you noticed Judy, but someone did!!
We’ll compare Cindy’s methods with your selling techniques and come to our own conclusion. How many twinkly awards has guestbook fishing got you? No, didn’t think so.
Hey, I know gent who you’d get on with like a house on fire, I think he’s called Jimmy…has generous breasts and is covered in Maceral oil.

Delicious_JessMemberI presume you’ve got Amy’s details off a domain register?
The details have to be accurate or you don’t get to keep the Domain. The address and name have to be correct and I can’t imagine approaching my mom and saying “Mom, can I register my panty site at your address so I don’t look so dodgy?” without raising a few suspisions.
With .coms you’re forced to have your address and name displayed unless you have a good excuse. Having an adult site isn’t classed as a good excuse. Since girls cough up for PO BOX’s to hide their ID’s it’d be pretty pointless if your details were that accessible. Hence company ID’s being the perfect legitimate way (I think) around that stupid intrusive law.
I don’t think that everyone uses them a verification method, and to be honest, it was the last thing that came to my mind as I registered my domain. I think those registrant details need to satisfy the girls need first. It’s a bit of a flimsy way of sealing someone’s lagitimisy, the only reason mine isn’t that way is because I don’t know any company owners. Lots of girls use alternative addresses and register using company and spouses names. More than you know. I think it’s standard practice. If it’s a toss up between looking a little iffy and having a crazy stalker living in a tent on my front lawn, then I’m happy to look a little iffy 😛
Most panty girls would be off bounds if it were down to registrant details being spot on. Personally I hate those lists, I don’t think they should be allowed.Â
smt
Delicious_JessMemberI wouldn’t use the registrants details as a mark against her. If I could do the same then I would have and I’m legit. In this business girls have to guard their details, as do the customers, so it’s not good to hold it against them. It could be simply that she has the good sense to cover her own back, after all privacy of information is essentially dead on the internet.
She might be the owner of Dazzle Management. Web designers use thier co names to register, doesn’t mean anything really, just that she doesn’t want her information aired. And rightly so me thinks.

Delicious_JessMemberMan, I hope ebare find you out and kick your sorry sweaty ass off!
When a guy thinks he’s buying from a woman he should at least get that. The fact it may not be the woman in the pic is bad enough, but a guy. You’re clearly a joke or a fraud. Or both. Sell your panties but sell them as a guy, then watch them fly off the shelves. If your man-sweat is so good you won’t have a problem. With you as my rival I may as well close my site now! I have no hope *sob*
Good luck with your “business” I’ve got customers to email.
February 13, 2006 at 12:49 am in reply to: New,Help?Any suggestions on accepting online payments? #6151Delicious_JessMemberHey hun,
There’s not much happening at the mo’ on the payment processor front. We’re all kind of at a loss since Nochex and PPPay got rid of us.
There’s Greenzap and Alertpay but both are in the early-ish stages, not widely accepted and have a few problems attached to them. There’s been a few posts on them in the forum so have a peep about and see what you can dig up so far.
There’s a few options potentially on the horizon but it’s just a matter of sitting it out and waiting at them mo. I’m down to a PO BOX and maybe online banking. Stormpay is a U.S option too but I really know nothing about the ones I’ve mentioned as I’ve never used them myself.
Hope you have some luck hun.
Love Jess xxxx -
