You didn’t like your statement being challenged and it would appear that you are taking it as some form of threat to your knowledge of psychology, fetishism, Dommedom, panty selling or whatever other topic you want to link your original statement to.

If people want to believe your statements, that is their choice. I have offered an alternative viewpoint and I have no shame about expressing it. You can call it whatever you like, but I have managed to state my case politely and clearly. If you disagree with what I have said, then that is also your right to expression.

Again thanks for the feedback.

Like I said, I am just putting out the heads up with the time I have available.

They are very active and involved with their fans but generally interact with people who contact them directly. Either of them can be contacted directly through their websites.

I am not trying to sell their items myself. All I am doing is giving advance notice to the members here about what’s coming. This is inside information not announced anywhere else yet. I figured the buyer members here might appreciate it.

All I am doing is trying to be helpful to the girls I work with. No buyers ever have to talk to me and if they want to communicate with the girls, they are welcome to go to their sites and message them directly. They are not here (yet) because they do lots of things and set their priorities to their members, fans and other people who they like and like them.

If helping promote the girls I work with makes me a pimp in some people’s books, then there is nothing I can do about that. I don’t expect people to run over to their sites and start buying panties because I have posted here. I am just trying to spread the word, if there are potential fans out there who may make a connection, then everyone wins.

The point I was making about context was that my statement is applicable to any context. So in trying to change the definition or nature of the topic, your statement is still incorrect. What I said is also applicable regardless of gender. Dommes can and do have fetishes, sexual or not, panties or otherwise.

Although this thread was started six months ago, I replied to it because it was posted to recently by a couple of people.

Wow, this thread is generating some activity, there were posts made while I was writing my reply. Who would have thought my Yahoo debut would raise such controversy.

I do not mean to insult any of the experienced panty sellers out there. I have no doubt that you are all skilled at your craft, but I do have knowledge and expertise that can benefit anyone trying to sell their panties.

I can also be very opinionated and know what comes with that.

This is a relaxed site and has a great vibe. This is why I like this site. If I have gotten some people upset to the point that they have no interest in what I have to offer, that is perfectly okay, there are many out there who have been taking me up on my offers.

If it were another link farm, I would understand this comment, however Panty Lane is not a link farm. Yes, there are ads there, as does any site have, but there is lots of content, and lots more on the way. With daily updates and some of it is exclusive.

Second to actual panties, buyers like pics and that is what Panty Lane has to offer. I am not dependent on pictures from the sellers at this site or others to keep Panty Lane going. I work with enough people that I could fill the site indefinitely with pictures and items from girls I know personally. However, variety is also good, so if there are real panty sellers out there who would like some traffic, I don’t mind offering it up.

The added bonus is that the picture uploading also works as free image hosting. This takes a small dig at the sites out there who try and charge for such a service.

I don’t charge panty sellers for what I offer, it’s all free. If sponsor ads get clicks then great, but this is a side project for me.

And, I want to avoid this particular aspect of the conversation, but I will say that, based on what I see here for average prices on items, I am quite confident that I know what I am talking about from both the buyer and seller position.

I am learning more about the panty community everyday, just like I am learning more about everything I do everyday. There are many things that I do that can be helpful. I may be new to this site and the “panty community” but I am not new to fetishes, kink, media production, marketing or selling panties and other items.

Well for one, there are many inexperienced sellers who could benefit from what I offer. There are also things that I do that can even benefit the top sellers out there. I would be willing to wager that the top sellers here (and elsewhere) are not doing some of the things that I do.

In a word “traffic”. Traffic means visitors and that means more people see your items. The more people who see your items the more potential buyers you will have. Traffic comes from all sorts of places and I can guarantee that I get traffic from different sources than this site and it’s sister sites.

This is a great site and I have no interest in re-inventing the wheel. My site is unique and I will continue to keep it different.

My skills are directed towards marketing and building the traffic to my sites (I have several) and then sending that traffic around to the mutual benefits of the site owners.

If you have enough visitors, are selling enough items and don’t need any extra exposure or help, that is perfectly okay. But for those out there who are interested in what I am doing, and would like the benefits of getting more visitors, I am more than happy to share.

So far, anything I have said here is backed up by additional information or I make sure to qualify my statements. At no time have I, or will I, claim expertise in areas where I am not knowledgable.

I understand how people are suspicious, especially in this business, but if you look at my sites, I think you will get the idea that I do have a lot to offer and I am completely legit.

Here’s the thing, you stated that no Dom(me)s have fetishes.

Regardless of the context, this statement is false. The context is irrelevant because, regardless of how you choose to define fetish and/or Dom(me), saying that no Dom(me)s have fetishes is completely wrong.

If you want to narrow the definition of fetish, that is fine, Dom(me)s still have fetishes. If you want to narrow the definition of Dom(me), it is still applicable, Dom(me)s have fetishes. If you want to narrow the fetish, I will also say that there are Dom(me)s out there with a panty fetish and even to the point that they would wank to a pair of panties.

To have a submissive tied up and bent over, with her panties on, receive a spanking and then get a load of jizz from her Dom afterwards, on those panties, sounds quite D/s to me. All within the confines of the definitions you describe or clarifications you have made.

If you want to broaden the definitions of either word, the same still holds true, Dom(me)s can and do have fetishes, plain and simple, across the board.

If you want to make broad, bold statements, it is important that you be able to support those statements. I made sure to qualify my earlier comments by saying that I, as well as all Dom(me)s have learning to do, as any good Dom(me) knows.

Thank you for the reply to my post.

Although both Jasmine and Krystina are models/performers primarily, they do make certain items available for sale to their fans.

These tend to be special items, from shoots, or unique or rare items that might not otherwise be found, except by auction or direct release.

Both of these girls also interact directly with their fans and take special requests and custom orders.

I don’t want this to be confused as some form of personal attack, btw, but that particular statement was the most contradictory that I saw in this thread. It was also part of a fairly definitively stated bunch of information that was definitely incorrect, so I thought it would be fun to add my 2 cents.

I did not take the post out of context, I read the entire thing, a few times, as with the rest of the posts in this thread.

Using both quotes only adds to my statement. I completely agree with your definition of fetish and how it applies to the comments made. If you want to further narrow the definition, it still applies.

You have just described your own shoe fetish. You don’t have to wank over something to have a fetish for it. From Dictionary.com:

This also supports your definition, which supports what I was saying. Anyone can have a fetish, including Dom(me)s, “true” or otherwise, sexual or non-sexual.

You “love” shoes and own dozens of pairs. That is a shoe fetish. If you are a Domme, then you are a Domme with a shoe fetish (I know many, so you are not alone). If this is a non-sexual fetish, then fine, but it’s still a fetish. As for sexual fetishes, using my example, a leather fetish is not necessarily a “clothing preference”. Similar to panties, people like the look, feel, smell and taste of leather. Many Dom(me)s love the look, smell, feel and/or taste of leather to the point that it causes sexual arousal. This would be considered a fetish that a Dom(me) could have and is just one example of many. Either case supports the fact that Dom(me)s can and do have fetishes.

This is a very interesting thread with some viewpoints that I feel compelled to comment on, and maybe stir up some controversy in the process ;).

Generally speaking, fetishes, BDSM and the like, should be treated as fun and play. People who start to get too wrapped up in formalities, syntax and protocol, are missing the point. Whether you like panties or being tied up or hit or mindufcked is all okay, it’s all subjective and it’s all up to those who are paricipating. If all of the participants are legally censenting adults, then who cares about what other people think about the roles you play?

Anniespanties has the right idea “it’s all about fun,” and you can play any role that suits your desires. Being a Dom(me) is all about mentality, not title. It’s about mutual respect and enjoyment.

Where do I begin with this? Anna, you have stated some opinions in your post with the definity and certainty of a typical Domme who also still has much to learn (as do all Dom(me)s, myself being no exception). What is the “true sense of the word”? I have no interest in debating what a “true Dom(me)” is, so don’t bother, it was a rhetorical question that can be (and is constantly) debated on the BDSM community boards. I can safely say that if you were to ask any Dom(me), self-proclaimed or otherwise, they would agree that they all have fetishes.

Most people who are into kink have a leather fetish or other clothing fetish. Power exchange is a fetish. Body parts are also covered by fetish. So does this mean that a Dom(me) who receives foot worship doesn’t have a foot fetish, only the sub does?

People who think being a Dom(me) is all about what “They” want, really do not have a clue about what BDSM is all about and should proably re-evaluate their abilities in a relationship context. Thinking it’s all about “You” is a very selfish and potentially damaging attitude towards Domming.

It’s the selfish Dom(me)s, the uninformed Dom(me)s, the baby-Dom(me)s and others who create the bad perception of BDSM and kink that hinders those of us who are trying to spread positivity about fetishes and kink.

If someone wants to play multiple roles, then that is completely okay. There are many people out there who play the switch role too. When someone is buying panties or submitting, they are receiving some form of gratification that ties into the personalities of both people. There is a connection that results in a transaction, whether physical, mental, emotional, financial or otherwise. To suggest that any of these activities are so concretely and clearly defined is absurd. Mixing up the roles can definitely be part of the fun.
