Wow Jade!!! You seem pretty upset over being asked for your credit card info and being approved to sell at the site! It seems that they have had this system of approval for quite some time and many sellers have gone through it without losing their composure.
At this point, I’m sure you don’t care but there is some logic to their approval system. First, people sign up just to be members of the site. Credit card info is taken in an attempt to verify that the prospective member is really 18 years old. Not the perfect age verification but maybe one of the only tools available.
Since many of the members are not sellers, there is a second process to become a seller. I believe the process is a bit more involved because the credit card would used to bill for seller’s fees. Maybe they’re just trying to make sure they don’t get taken for fees by new sellers?
Also, you are incorrect. The forums are working just fine. I am in them in another window as I type this. Maybe if you contact them and give them your credit card info, you can join the forums too:huh:? 😉
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you good luck and lots of panty sales.

KroozeMemberActually, I think that the reputation you would have gained would not have been something for you to witness. If you are in the U.S., you probably would have faced a sexual harassment suit and probably lost your job pretty quickly.
It’s tough enough to find a girlfriend that’s into panty play and such, let alone aquaintences from work.

KroozeMemberHi Kitty and welcome to PHOG!!!!! I’ve seen you at ebanned!!!!!! I wish you all the best in your panty providing career!
B)
KroozeMemberYep, nice sentiments Jazzy!!! I agree that thanks are in order for Panty King and Amy!!!! They are the best!!!!! I must say that since there isn’t alot of posting going on, the Moderators are sitting around doing nothing! We need lots more posts to make those Moderators earn their salaries!!! 😉
I think a big thank you goes to all the girls who provide those panties. Without them, there isn’t much need for this gret place to hang out!!!

KroozeMemberCongrats Cinders!!!! The first award went to a very deserving person. It was not just about providing fetish products, if that were the case there would have been at least a thousand girl tie because there are so many quality providers. What set this award at a different level was the consideration for contribution to the panty community. You have proved to be a huge help to so many of the girls, be they new or experienced.
Also, it’s easy to tell that the award went to the right person because of how much your appreciation for it shows.
It’s a great start to what I hope will be a long standing award tradition. I already can’t wait to see the awards ceremony next year!!!

… then you gotta throw the panty away anyway…OMG!!! It’s talk like this that’s gonna take years off my life!!! Say it ain’t so!!!!!  😉

KroozeMemberAre there any panties involved or is this just an attempt to spam an adult site?
Just wondering…

KroozeMemberI’m still laughing at some of the misconceptions that seem so prevelent.
I think part of the pride of ownership of Ebanned is that they have built the website from nothing by themselves. It is a successful business and their pride and joy (if you call that much hard work joy?). I’m sure part of implementing the upgrade was not only the need for improvement but the challenge of the task.
It’s very classy of you Lisab, to ask folks to be patient when it comes to your competition. Not alot of people would make the statements you made offering support.
The income comments still perplex me. Even if you do some simple math with liberal concessions, they would still never even make 100 grand a year! Figure 700 auctions per week with average listing and final auction fees totaling $2.25 for each auction. That would total $1575 per week or $81,900 per year. Alot of money but a far cry from the few hundred thousand or million per year that everyone is guessing. And that income is earned by two people!
Out of that they have to pay software subscrition fees and well as for servers and for bandwidth. It sure doesn’t sound like they’re getting rich off the site! Now figure that each of the owners puts in at least 58 hours of Ebanned related work each week, they would be making $13.77/hour before taxes!!!! Holy crap are they rich!!!!!!! LOL
It’s amazing to me that people form such negative opinions about others while making assumptions. It sure isn’t hard to figured out a ballpark number before forming an opinion.

KroozeMemberLOL You guys are crackin’ me up! lmao
Lemme just comment on a couple things. I know the owners of Ebanned personally so my opinions might be a little partial but I’ll try to be objective.
Even if the software was right out of the box, it’s a major change from the old software. The owners have been modifying it for quite some time and testing it out the whole time. Where the problem lies is that the data that needs to be transferred (feedback, etc.) is in a different format and must be manually converted. It will take a few days to get it all switched over.
Nobody has to reregister! The reason folks can’t get it is that their info hasn’t been transferred yet. It takes time!
Also, I guarantee they don’t make a million dollars a year! I think you need to check your math! I’ll bet they haven’t even come close to that in the 5 years the site has been open.
The worst part of this whole thing is that all the issues mentioned were predicted. Announcements were made foretelling of these problems and asking for patience while they work out the issues. Obviously some people can’t read or can’t afford to be patient for a couple days. I just don’t understand the hostility!
I don’t expect I’ve convinced anyone of anything. I just felt that the wild accusations and open hostility needed some response. It’s a shame that some people can’t be a little more understanding
KroozeMemberI don’t have a particular brand of beer I like as much as styles of beer. I really enjoy Oktoberfest/Marzen style beers. They are smooth and not really hoppy. As for ales, I enjoy brown ales. Porters are nice on a cold night by the fire.
Occasionally I like to have a beer with lots of hops flavor and that’s when I get a nice IPA (India Pale Ale) style beer. There are alot of breweries that make a good beer in this style.
B)
KroozeMemberNope! It’s not a pay site! Chandie is correct that you have to register but that’s only to make sure kids aren’t getting in there.
B)
KroozeMemberHappy New Year to PK and Amy!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the best to you both!
And Happy New Year to all the folks that hang at PHOG!!!!!!!!

KroozeMemberThe rules might be different in other areas but when I got my PO Box about 5 years ago, they asked for the two forms of ID that you are being asked for. When you fill out the form, it asks for ‘other names’. That’s where I put my online name (Krooze) and the mail ges to me just fine.
Sometimes the Postal workers say stuff to be difficult. Remember that people get mail to their PO boxes everyday using online nicknames so it is more than possible.

KroozeMemberHi Salma! I think we already know each other!!!!!!! smt
