We could pick one of us to be the public face to stop this kind of thing from cropping up, but the whole point of our site is that we’re both real girls, and we’re both really involved in everything. We’ve decided not to sacrifice our individuality in an attempt to look more professional, which means inconsistencies will happen from time to time, because we’ll be busy and some details will slip past one or the other of us.

Thanks again to all of the compliments! And I want to apologize to Ponygirl for… I guess overthinking all of the responses to the “dispute.” Internet arguments put me on edge, and I don’t handle conflicts well. Sorry!

Obviously there’s no way I can prove that I’m not lying, and obviously while there’s two of us trying to answer the same questions but having slightly different view points of almost the same exact events, things are going to come out with a little confusion. I apologize for that.

This whole thing feels very unprofessional and I’m unhappy about how it all went down. In the future, Quinn and I may have to take a different approach at posting public messages about our site so that we can keep a more solid front.

I totally understand that you’re wary of us, as we are new and could turn out to be evil bitches. That said, we’re not evil bitches, and I really didn’t mean to steal your content.

If you change your mind and want me to change the title, I’ll do it right away.

Erm, this is exactly the same as something I offer on my site. I was not the first seller to offer this, but you seem to have directly copied the name as well as the item.

I know that all new sellers get inspiration from other sites when they start out, but stealing content from other sites is considered a real no no. Just something to be aware of.

I just want to clarify a little bit better what all happened there… I saw that a few people were offering handkerchiefs under a few different names none of which I really liked, then wankerchief came to mind. It was totally spontaneous and I thought I was a friggin genius to come up with it.

Then like twenty minutes later I stumbled across your wankerchief bit. Needless to say I was bummed that I hadn’t come up with it first, but I was so enamored with the name that I used it anyway.

I sort of figured it was like “pussy pop” being called the same thing by everyone.

If you really feel a strong ownership over the word “Wankerchief” and are offended by me using it, I would take it down. I don’t want to be a bitch, I definitely don’t want to steal content, and I don’t want to make any enemies.

Anyway, I’m quite sorry that it came out as “our special item,” which sounds like “only we do it” when it was only meant to be “we do this neat other thing too.”

I also wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who complimented the site! I worked really hard on it, and it feels good to get praise from more than just Quinn. 🙂

As to the gift card suggestion… I’ve seen that around and my only real problem with it is that I’d really rather it be in actual money I can access.

I’ve seen people who have buyers send personal checks or money orders, but… that seems like it must be a big inconvenience to buyers. I don’t know, I’m figuring it out.

Sorry for the confusion! I’m american. When I signed up for a domain I learned that .co.uk domains don’t require your address to be publicly available, also you don’t have to be in the UK to register for one.
