The reason is 3 fold:

1. It’s a great novel
2. The hottest Bond ever, Sean Connery, was in the film adaptation.
and 3. I love the Bond Girl’s name- Honey Ryder!(originally in the book it was Honeychile Rider) That’s the sexiest name ever!
