I’m very sorry to hear of the problems that you’re having with this person.  I have experienced similar problems myself over the past couple of years or so, but will say however that most of the girls on this site are genuine. I see you mentioned about getting your credit card company to claw back your money.  I’m not sure if that would work or not, but if they did it would then leave it to stormpay to take the appropriate legal action against the merchant should they wish to recover their losses.

This is why I don’t particularly like the auction sites.? I’m glad to see everyone else?s comments on here too, I was beginning to think it was just me that found the customer service of many of the auction sites to be somewhat lacking.

Hi there Krooze, don’t worry about your comments, I make it a rule never to take comments personally as it can be very difficult to tell the tone of a person just from there words on the screen and I certainly have no objection with you quoting me. :)? My problem with auction sites is there apparent facelessness if you have concerns or problems or require any kind of help.? I’ve never had a problem with any seller that I have dealt with through an auction site, so I guess I’m lucky there that those sellers have been genuine. I have and still do deal with some of the girls that are members of this site and the girls that I have dealt with so far have been fantastic? smt, except maybe one or two, but I have listed those in the rip off area.

From experience, I have had occasion in the past to query details of my personal accounts and profile information etc or questions relating to messages etc.? What I generally find is that when e-mailing them you’ll maybe get a nice reply, but not one that answers the query, it’s as though it just gets brushed aside, they either can’t answer it or just can’t be bothered.? It wouldn’t be so bad if they’d have the decency to e-mail and say if they can’t answer the query and would need to refer to a third party, I’d have no problem with that.? And when you send further messages explaining that the query hasn’t been answered, you never hear from them again. :angry:? On a positive note, I do accept that not all auction sites are the same and I will hopefully come across one that will be different.

I would like to just point out one small detail here, none of the comments that I have made are in anyway aimed at ebanned.? I’ve never dealt with them because I will never give my credit card details to any site that requires them in order to use it, so therefore cannot comment on their service.? I do appreciate this thread is aimed towards the ebanned site, but the original comments on this thread that I made were in response to another post the thread.? So my comments are based on my general experiences with the auction sites that I have dealt with and not aimed at just one.

Hi there ebarred auction, I can’t comment on your prior software or service, but I’m always willing to give new sites a go.? Who knows, you may even change my opinion of auction sites? 🙂 But if I join, it won’t be under the screen name I’m using here.

For all of the buyers out there, I have to agree totally with Krooze and leatherznzpice (interesting name…) you’ve got to check the details of the sellers if buying through auction sites, look specifically at the feedback of a seller and there scores, this is a great indication as to the reliability of a seller.? If something doesn’t go to plan, please communicate with the seller before leaving negative feedback.? The vast majority of the sellers are great people and are very happy to help and things do go missing in the post.? The best advice I can really give to you is communication, it?s essential!!

Yeah, the vast majority of the sellers within the auction sites are genuine people I?ve never really had many issues with those, in-fact I?ve dealt with some great sellers from a variety of different auction sites. :)? Although as you say there are still the odd one or two that get through and rip people off. :angry:

My issue has always been the way in which auction sites are run.? Of course these are just my own personal experiences.

At the end of the day you?re right it comes down to personal choices, my experiences will be different to those of other people, so my opinions are bound to be somewhat different. 🙂

I think if I’m honest, I’d rather deal with the individual sites.? I’ve always found the ladies that run the sites are very genuine and lovely people. 🙂

I’ve not heard from Darcy in absolutly ages myself, but know that she had lots of problems with her e-mails both to her site and to her other e-mail address too.  It would be a shame if she’s given up.
