I’ve received gifts from buyers. I think it is a wonderful gesture, especially from regulars who become friends and confidants. I have different types of wish lists – usual amazon types and one on lovehoney for sexy undies and toys.

I like receiving both, although admittedly probably have more fun with lovehoney stuff because I rarely spoil myself with sexy stuff.

I dont always feel obliged to respond with a gift back, but I do try to make the gifter up with extra photos or vids, and occasionally a full pair of nicely used panties 😉

I have re-read a number of books, sometimes for nostalgic reasons (a fav is ‘stories for five year olds’ and ‘A Twist of Gold’), and some because I bought them and forgot I’d already read them, and some simply because I love the stories:

Angela’s Ashes – Frank McCourt
The Lovely Bones – Alice Sebold
Witch Child & Sorceress – Celia Rees and
The Complete Book of Flower Fairies – Cicely Mary Barker (because the poems, stories and illustrations are timeless 😡 )

topdrawer, I agree with you on the conflicting nature of PayPal topics on the forum.
Although this topic has been covered gazillions of times on here, there are, unfortunately, some new sellers who say that paypal is reliable and that is what confused you, and many other newbies. As you now know, PayPal is B.A.D 😉 and I agree with Cindy that we just leave this thread up – perhaps delete the others..?

I agree with missamandamae. It takes a while to get a customer base, as with any business.

Also, the economic slump isn’t doing too well for the other sellers too. I suggest you read all the info available on here, and get yourself out there. Im sure it won’t be too long until you get a sale 😉

It may not suit your tastes but don’t forget that some people get off on being hurt and slapped around. As long as it is done with consent and respect it isn’t nasty.

I think Mary was just stating her opinion, not condoning the S&M scene. To some people, they find that sort of not to their tastes.
