Certainly we shouldn’t be rude. On the other hand it is hard not to be constantly on the look out for people trying to put one over on people. In the last three days I’ve had to dump our “Satvia” when I learned he/she was not the Satvia in the photos (a porn actress and model) but had simply copied the photos and the name from the real Sativa’s web site. Now we’ve got what appears to be a guy who is starting up an auction site posting as a women claiming to have nothing to do with the new website. :huh:

This kind of thing makes it very tough on the new but good and honest sellers because it causes buyers to be very leery of new people.

News of start ups is very welcome here. Dishonesty and insulting bullshit is not.

If you took a few minutes to read the front page of this site, you would see that announcements and news of things of interest to the panty community are welcome here. I just wrote a post yesterday about something very similar.

Instead of putting together a press release/announcement about your site and submitting it for publishing on the front page here, you’ve spammed our members by email, you’ve entered your site in the directory here and clicked the box that said you have first put up a reciprocal link on your site but you haven’t.

The worst part of it all though is that you register with a female profile and are here in the forum telling people that you have no connection to the site you are promoting.

However I see that you’ve entered the website url as your website in your profile page here. Your IP address indicates that you are in a certain city in Colorado. The registration for the website indicates that person who registered the site is in this same city. The icing on the cake is that the man, Mike, who registered the site lists your ChestyLexxxi email address as his email address in the site’s registration.

Well of course that entire post is patently ridiculous and pure drivel. Considering I haven’t seen any mention of that site here in a month or so, I suspect he posted that post now only in an attempt to drum up drama to kick start some traffic.

Obviously he is very disgruntled by the fact that he has been banned from Panty Hog, however, he has only himself to blame for that. Panty Hog is here to provide a place where any panty related service or seller is welcome to announce themselves and what they have to offer. He could have come like many other selling sites have done and announced the opening on the Panty Hog front page and then continued to promote his site here in many areas for free. Of course, he choose instead to spam the member list resulting in many complaints. Those that weren’t around then can see a couple of his posts as Betty Boing HERE in which he says that he only “spammed a little”. Some will recall that after he was banned, he came back multiple times with a proxy IP to spam again. Had he played by the rules his news and his sellers’ news might be welcome here like any other. As far the some of the people there that I kicked off of Used Panty World, they were kicked off due to complaints from other members for spamming at UPW. As I said, he screwed himself and any sellers that only sell there by becoming the only panty sales site banned from Panty Hog.

We are all adults, he and those kicked out of UPW will have to learn to live with the consequences of their behavior and their sour grapes.

Some sort of photos are a must. There are also free classifieds ads at http://www.usedpantyworld.com which are more prominent than the classifieds here at the main Panty Hog site.

No matter where you sell, the best way to get people to find you and your offers is to be active here in the forums and to put news of yourself and your offers on the Panty Hog front page.

This is a great but heavy question meyerlansky123. As seen by the responses so far, it seems that it is something that might vary between each person and each couple. To get a fair look, turn it around and ask “If your wife or girlfriend was chatting up another guy, looking at his nude or semi-nude photos, and buying his dirty underwear to enjoy, how would you feel”? Ouch! :ohmy:

The optimal situation would be to have your partner involved in some manner and to use the panty fetish/buying experience as way to spice up your relationship with the person you love. If that can’t be done, then yes, you cover your tracks like your life depended on it because if your significant other finds out you have been enjoying panties on the sly, there is a chance that they will be very hurt.

You can post any story you like as long as it has nothing to do with minors. It is all good. 😉 The panty fetish is the main theme here but most folks here by their nature are pretty open-minded and interested. So by all means never hesitate to share.

When people write stories though, they may want to post them in the stories section (Click here for Stories Area) and then still post a thread about it here in the forum. This isn’t a rule or anything but when you post it in the stories section, it is always easy to find, and gets listed in the new stories box on the front page. If you put it in the forum only it could get buried quickly by new posts so not as many people will see it.

Any of those are fine. I always suggest to everyone to upload a profile image to get rid of the default/blank one. The profile pic is just sort of a way to set yourself apart from the brand new members and express a bit about who you are so others get to know you better.

Although I admit mine isn’t very original at the moment. :whistle:

I agree that Sean Connery was by far the best. When someone says “James Bond” that is the first face I associate with the name. I thought Roger Moore was pretty good as Bond as well. Even though I’ve seen the Connery and Roger Moore ones countless times over the years, I’m always happy to watch them again.

I’m not sure that all old threads need to be locked. As Anna said, sometimes a person may have a legitimate reason for posting to an old thread. It may be better if, as some have mentioned, we say that if someone thinks a particular thread should be locked for whatever reason, that they just say so. Any of the moderators or myself can then lock the thread.

I will go ahead and lock the thread that brought this topic up. If you see others that really should become read only, just give one of us a shout.

Yes, I have unpublished the user list due to the problem we have had in the past with someone spamming all members. I could publish a userlist and make it accessible only to those that indicate a legitimate interest. I will look at this further.
