The best way to describe Panty Hog is as a hub for the entire used panty fetish community. It doesn’t matter where on the internet you sell your stuff, any adult is welcome to meet people here, discuss topics, post your news on the front page, announce your sales and specials, etc. If it has to do with used panties, news about it is welcome.

This is old quite old news that was discussed here and on other panty fetish sites thoroughly when Paypal changed its terms of service about two years ago. Please read through the rest of the Paypal threads here Lips. We’ve all seen the terms of service many times before over the years.

The sellers here offered advice to help new sellers avoid having their accounts frozen. The simple fact of the matter is that when Paypal discovers that a person is accepting payment for used panties, the account is frozen. You are certainly welcome to ignore that advice and first-hand experience of established sellers and use Paypal.

That would be great news. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t bet my Paypal balance on that. You might want to send Paypal an email and ask them if you are permitted to use Paypal to accept payment for your dirty panties. I think you’ll be surprised by the response. Many sellers have asked Paypal that exact question. They all get the same response.

I don’t remember why exactly, though the thread is still here somewhere, but long ago, some of the ladies asked for a forum area that was to be used only by women. Cindy might recall? In fairness, I also created one to be used only by men. The original need may not be there any longer, I’m not sure. If we keep them though, we should try to abide by the men or women only rule.

The myusedpantystore is an interesting find. A quick look at the whois suggests it isn’t the same person (though that doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t). The page there claims that it will be managed more professionally. If that is honestly the case, it will be interesting to see what they come out with. Hopefully, they’ll take advantage of the Panty Hog front page to appropriately share their news and plan with the community rather than spamming everyone and their brother as we’ve seen some do in the past.

Thanks for the well wishes. Just a bug around I guess. Started as a sinus infection and moved on to more like a flu. I’m starting to feel better so hopefully I’m back to normal by the week end.

In a word “traffic”. Traffic means visitors and that means more people see your items. The more people who see your items the more potential buyers you will have. Traffic comes from all sorts of places and I can guarantee that I get traffic from different sources than this site and it’s sister sites.

I’ve been watching this thread and just kind of watching how it played out but I do have some clarification and a question.

Panty Trust is great, but it is not a sister site or a part of Panty Hog. As it happens many Panty Trust ladies hang out here (and I’m very proud that Panty Hog attracts that type of seller). Panty Trust advertises here and posts its news here because Panty Hog is the only panty community news site that I’m aware of.

While Panty Hog’s traffic comes from many sources, the overwhelming majority of our traffic comes from Google. We’ve been blessed with google showing the indexing of anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 pages on the main Panty Hog site on a given day. Our front page gets lots of views, and Panty Hog has enjoyed the number one spot or first page Google result for many panty terms for years. The best news is that search terms I see that bring people here are all panty terms, in other words, it isn’t just random yahoos coming through, it is people looking specifically for panty information.

I appreciate that Panty Lane offers free services to panty sellers. As you know I am of the same mind, and everything here including photo and video hosting is free as well. I think the the sites that charge for such things are really showing their failure to keep up with the times since space and bandwidth hasn’t been expensive since the 1990’s. I do want to ask though after reading your post… Are you saying in your post Steve that your new site has more traffic than Panty Hog?

I deleted the “goodbye” post because I felt it was very insulting to members here that were friends with this former seller. Several people in the used panty community went out of their way to be friends and to help this member out when she had trouble a while back. Several people genuinely cared enough about her to post here asking if she were okay.

The messages were here for several days with no response or personal emails to the people that stated their concern. Finally, a generic response was written but in it she indicated that the only reason she was finally acknowledging her friends’ concerns was because Mike urged her to. Otherwise she apparently had no intention of her own of ever contacting these people who cared about her and who were happy to help her when she asked.

I respect (those that were left in the dark) Mike, Serena, PRH, Desire, and FK too much to allow that post to stay here. If you choose to disappear it is only the most common of courtesies to at least let your good friends know about it quickly and privately. Sorry for the soap box, but I just really saw this as rotten.
