Hi All,

Actually the accessibility problem we have had with the site over the last two or so days was a hardware problem with the computer that runs the site’s database, and is/was not related to the changeover to the new site. The site has been basically down for the last two days, those that actually found themselves able to access it are brave and patient souls. The people who maintain the database server have been hard at work, and it appears now that this problem is fixed or very close. Sorry I didn’t say anything earlier, but I couldn’t get in myself to post.

Unfortunately, when a server problem happens there isn’t much anyone can do but sit back and let the techs take care of it and hope it doesn’t take too long to fix. The best thing to do during a time when Panty Hog is down is to check out some of the offerings by the lovely ladies in the auction area, and catch up on reading of the blogs of all the great ladies who are members here. Hopefully within an hour, or in the worst case as we just had, a day or so, you’ll come back to find the Panty Hog site back to normal.

Hi Nicola,

You might want to put a link to your blog in your forum signature so people reading your posts here have easy access to it. You can do this by going to your profile, clicking the “edit profile” tab, then the forum tab, and finally entering a signature in the form.

By the way for you and everyone, don’t forget that you can put a news item up on the front page of the site to introduce yourself, share your news, announce special offers, etc. The front page has been really quiet since our site update…don’t be shy folks, the front page is there to share your news 😉

This pretty much sums up what I said earlier about the circus coming to town whenever this site is mentioned. I had to clean them out of Used Panty World and am banning them here.

Yourfootgirl, you are welcome here at Panty Hog, but let us all work to keep the kids there over there where they belong by closing this thread. Panty Hog is a site for adults.

Just a FYI note on the email address thing. Email addresses posted on Panty Hog are unreadable by bots (bots are used to harvest email addresses from the web). Unfortunately, that won’t help if it is a real person wanting your email address.

Sorry to hear of the problems you encountered Yourfootgirl. If the owner of that site is indeed here reading these posts, I would suspect that our users will yet once again be under attack from spam related to that site. We generally remove posts mentioning this particular site due to the fact that the carneys often arrive when it is mentioned. Members – if you do receive spam from a user here at Panty Hog, please do report it to me ASAP so that I can ban the offending account.

Given the troubling history and dubious reputation of the site in question consistently reported by its users here and elsewhere, while it may not seem like it at this moment, you will likely find your leave from there to actually be a blessing. An association with that place is not generally viewed as a positive by the majority of the used panty fetish community.

The going to the police bit is really something. The police will tell you to contact the web site host. That hosting provider must be run by a kid in his parents’ basement, as that is the most unprofessional response I’ve ever seen by a host when notified of a copyright issue.

If it is any consolation at all, it doesn’t look like anyone has been to the site since December of last year, and prior to that, only the site’s creator.

That it a pretty silly reply by a hosting company. Any reputable host would investigate a complaint. It doesn’t take much to set up a hosting re-seller site. You might be complaining to the crook himself. It might be interesting to see if the whois for the hosting provider is the same as the other site. I haven’t had a chance to take a look.

It looks as though nastyknicks, pantypost, and the tgp are all by the same people. The pantypost site was interesting…seems vaguely familiar but I can’t quite put my finger on it. :blink:
