Not is an understatement. Hot or not appears to have not gone over too well. You never know, so I put it out there. I was actually going to put it out of its misery this weekend. I think people are hesitant because who wants to put their photo up there and see it rate poorly? On the other hand, it could be used for fun like the dog pic, or if someone couldn’t decide which pair of panties they liked better (blue?/red?) they could get some help from the votes of others. I’ll give it a stay of execution for another week just in case.

Well, I’ll be damned.  :cheer: Cindy, I tried in the past to open an account there and had the exact problem as asseater. I finally gave up on it. After your post, I went back, and sure enough, the order of month/day was the problem. I consider myself fairly web savvy, but I never caught this difference in the way the dates are entered. I looked at that form until my eyes were red trying to figure it out, and even though it’s there, I didn’t see it. I bet there are a lot of folks in the USA who don’t see it and just move on.

Hello Jess,

I admire Cindy as much as anyone, and I suspect that Cindy certainly will be a very strong contender, but I sincerely hope that people won’t be under the impression that the winner of the Golden Panty Awards is in the bag before it gets going. It wouldn’t be much fun if it was. We are going to be promoting this well outside of just Panty Hog, and so who knows? By the way Jess, you were the second nomination we received (via Dr Nohoney).

I encourage everyone to nominate a seller they appreciate no matter how widely known they are. Regardless of the ultimate winner, nomination in itself is a great recognition for a used panty seller. A silver and bronze level winner is a great idea, consider it done. All nominees will of course, be permanently recognized on the awards page.

Since this was the first year for the awards, I thought it would be best to keep it simple. Next year we will expand to include awards in individual categories such as “best legs”, “best thongs”, and so forth.

Hi all,

I noticed that this thread is getting personal at times. If it’s bothering most please let me know. People come here to have fun and talk panties and some may be put off by this thread…I understand that. On the other hand, even though Caine sounds like a lunatic to me, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t find the thread to be interesting reading.

Caine isn’t alone, he/she just happens to be one that for whatever reason decided to register and post their rantings publicly. Most others like him/her just email us here directly to tell us that running Panty Hog is wrong.

Thanks for bringing up Panty University Jess. I was thinking the other day that I should mention somewhere that we needed some additional courses. Since several ladies here have gone from asking if you can actually sell panties to being full-blown professional web-mistresses, there are probably some great lessons and advice they could share with ladies just starting out. -HINT- HINT-? :cheer: Also, Panty University has just been accredited to offer a graduate school? lmao so advanced web site and sales management “courses” are welcome as well. Seriously to all sellers though, if anyone would like to submit a lesson for PU, please do. Don’t worry if you don’t think you’re “experienced enough”, there’s always someone newer than you who could benefit from your knowledge.

On the Google issue, there are many web sites dedicated to the? discussion as to whether Google position is really as critical as all that. Google remains a great mystery, and their ever changing program of deciding who gets ranked where will drive you nuts if you let it. I think you’re on the mark about MSN, and they are trying like hell to get the word out that searching their service may give you more of the results that you are looking for. I follow our visitor stats and google search pattern reports closely, and can tell you that the obvious key words for which you’d think you’d need to rank highly aren’t necessarily the ones panty folks are searching.

Google has indexed over 5,000 pages of Panty Hog so far, and I do appreciate that. It may make you feel a little better Jess to take a look at Google’s index of Panty Hog. Out of over 5,000 pages listed, look who’s mentioned in the very second result? ;)? Here is the link:

It’s not a bug, but rather a new feature in the chat room that lets you make a chat profile. I just put a news item regarding this on the front page. Has anyone tried out the profile option yet? What do you think?

P.S. Is the animated bat with the chat room piece a good thing to get you in the Halloween spirit, or do those flapping wings drive you batty?

Try deleting that Firefox favorite and then add Panty Hog again. It is likely something to do with the fact that Panty Hog has a new IP address.

Not to worry Krooze, only a very few photos had to go. There is plenty of wank worthy material in the galleries. Since most here are into seeing sexy ladies in lingerie, close ups of penile penetration or splooge covered faces may be not be what many of the panty wankers  😉 using the gallery are looking for anyway.
