The comments are meant to go with the particular photo. Therefore, there isn’t a user option to change a photo but then have comments shown with the new photo meant for a different photo.

Of course just like Frosty the Snowman’s hat, my crown gives me magic powers? :cheer:. I could manually swap the photo shown with a different photo with the same name on the server. When you say “tag them” do you mean giving the photos an alt tag to be shown at mouse over? If so, this already is done with the description option. Let me know a little more about what you’d like to do, and I’ll see what I can do.

Interesting thread…my two cents: As someone who has built sites and then sold the design as a template, I think it is interesting that pre-built web site templates have been mentioned as if there were some shame associated with using them.? In my opinion, using these as a resource can result in a perfectly fine site. Keep in mind that the graphical design or look of a web site is not necessarily related to the code that lets your web page do what you want it to do. Html tends to muddy the difference between these two somewhat, but it will be important to understand this if/when you decide to move further than just having your site present static information. The majority of the pre-built templates found at places like templatemonster are actually just the graphical design for a web site. Since they are primarily just the layout or skeleton of a site,? you still need knowledge of html to build the site. That is, the template looks very nice, but you still typically have much work to do before you?ve got a web site. For example, your template might have a beautiful box for member log in, but a great box is all it is until you?ve added the code and script needed to make it functional. If you see a template that catches your eye and seems to have the perfect ?look? you?ve been seeking, using it to jump start the development of your site can save you a great deal of time and frustration. If your perfect design already exists, why spend hours and hours remaking it from scratch when someone else has already done it for you? As a bonus, studying the html code of the template can be very effective for showing a beginner the basics of design. If you?re looking for ideas, or just starting out with your first web site, don?t discount templates as a valuable resource. Some great pre-made templates and web graphics can be found

As far the professional vs. amateur appearing used panty selling web sites, don?t forget that some people might have bypassed the whole idea of learning to develop a web site and simply paid someone to do it for them. I?ve built several web sites for panty sellers over the years, and in each case, they were/are completely legitimate sellers, they just weren?t interested in taking the time to do it themselves.

I just checked the chat room and it seems to be working as it should. Try logging out of Panty Hog, closing any windows open with Panty Hog or the chat room open, and then clear your cookies. This is the first I’ve heard of anyone having a problem, but like re-starting your computer, clearing out your cookies (temporary internet files) often fixes problems in about 95% of cases. If you still have problems, just send me a message and we’ll see what we can figure out.

Krooze: When you make a gallery you can password protect it if you wish. Most of the passworded pics have been done by accident though, I did it the first time I uploaded mine, I’m sure they’ll be lifted when the owner notices. Gosh, the gallery’s packed now, isn’t it?!

I’ll go through and check on non-working links. The directory is getting pretty long, and it isn’t as easy to keep tabs on the dead links as it used to be. If you find a non-working links please let me know so I can delete it.

As Jess said, most of the password protected galleries are mistakingly set that way when a new gallery was put up. I unprotect them as soon as I see it. There are no password protected galleries at this time. People who put up the galleries can pass word protect sections of them if they wish to post photos meant to be seen by a buyer or group of buyers only, etc. I do ask however, that if they do have a password protected area, that they also include a gallery section that everyone can enjoy.

Damn emh you noticed that change fast. I just took the “see more stats” button off of the forum this morning. As Leatherz says, you still click the blue info icon. I took the big link down because I happened to notice that the stats are screwey, and I’m wading through the stats script to see what can be done. For example from the front page of the site, you can see that 173 new registrations have been submitted this month. The forum stats show zero new members this month. Forum stats are showing 792 total members, site stats are showing 699.

Seems to be some miscommunication someplace between the user database and the forum’s stats script. When I get things insync, I’ll put the big link back.

Jess is right on the money. “Report to moderator” and IP logged are just in place for abuse. For example, if someone saw a post that was extremely inappropriate, they could click the link to notify the moderator of the board.

For those in North America, it looks like 7:00 pm UK time is somewhere around 2:00 pm EST. That’s pretty early for us over here to start drinking and stripping, but if Cindy is saying she’ll likely be a little tipsy, barely dressed, and on cam…I’d suggest everyone make an exception and join the party. The chat does have a block function. If someone were bothering you, you can simply click their name and then click “block” . This doesn’t kick them off of chat, but you won’t see any IMs from them, and their posts to the room won’t be seen by you. So, asshats won’t be very effective.

Since the chat room can only be accessed by Panty Hog (logged in) users, I’d think it would be very rare to have anyone causing difficulty for others. Just in case, I do have the ability to “kick out of the room for now” or “ban for good”.

Jess, I think you’ll find the Panty Hog chat room is very welcoming to everyone. The chat room is much like this forum area. It is a great way for new members to meet other members and eventually  become “regulars” themselves. Knowing the regulars here at Panty Hog, I can’t imagine a single one of them excluding anyone wanting to join in a conversation. The issue of the private room was brought up only because of jazzy’s questions. Yes, it is possible to make a private room, but everytime I’ve peeked in, people were only chatting in the lobby. It’s like a big party that everyone is invited to, and the webcam function is really fun. Please do check it out for yourself.
