Yes, unfortunately, the new chat does not yet have an associated program that will let me put a box up in the main area of the site showing who is in chat like our old chat did. This is something that is in the works, and I hope we’ll see it soon. So the short answer is that you’ll have to enter the chat to see if someone is there. Better yet, go to chat, and then re-size the pop-up window so that you can see if someone enters while you are looking at other Panty Hog areas or even another web site.

As far as the privacy issue, the new chat is actually better for this than the old. In the old chat, there was only one room. Everybody in the chat room was together whether they liked it or not. With the new chat, there are different rooms. When you enter, you are in the lobby. If you click on the name of one of the other rooms listed, you can leave the lobby, and go to that room. I’ve set up some rooms with different themes already. However, any chatter can create a new room for their needs and name it. If a group of chatters wanted privacy, they could simply create a room and label it “private” to prevent interuption. So, if the chatters aren’t in a room marked private, than it is assumed that the people chatting are wanting to chat with everyone. In other words, don’t ever worry about interupting someone when you enter the chat.
If you don’t know the people in there, it’s a great way to meet new people. If someone wants privacy they can create a private room.

Thank you Jazzy, Cindy, and Leatherz for trying out the chat room with me. Leatherz, I was just razzing you about bed head  :cheer:, it really wasn’t as bad as all that, you looked great. Besides, I am now fresh out of bed, and if you really want to see a bad case of bed head  :). Now Cindy, wow, a lady who looks ready for the ball right out of bed! Ah, I mean ball as in a fancy society party in this case, but on the other hand…. lmao

How about 10% of what the Panty Hog site brings in in registration fees?  lmao Sorry, the only pay is the personal satisfaction of knowing you’re doing something for fellow panty lovers.  😉 Seriously, being a moderator simply gives you upped access that allows you to edit, remove, or move posts in the area you moderate. Basically just watching out for your area. I.E. if someone posts something totally inappropriate in you opinion you delete it. A moderator may assist/answer questions from other users about posting, etc. In the end though, the moderator’s role is whatever the moderator wants it to be. Since Leatherz, Cindy, and Cherie have been moderators here almost since day one, maybe they could give you a better idea of a typical day as a moderator. You’d be a great moderator Krooze, let me know.

Not at all. .php is a processing language that talks to the server (computer) that the site is hosted on, it really has nothing directly to do with your web browser. Something similiar to the SSI you mentioned. Html markup and CSS are still required with .php, and those are the things that affect how the site appears in a browser. The official .php site is http://www.php.net/ if you haven’t checked it out…do. They have excellent tutorials for beginners to experts, and everything in between.  🙂

You’ll notice that Panty Hog uses .php. I’m involved in the development of many new web sites every month for my “day job” (nothing to do with panties or adult sites), and I do everything I can to work with nothing other than .php. Unfortunately, .CF, .ASP, Perl, etc. need to be used in some cases instead depending on the job.

.php is extremely adaptable, and generally much easier to touble shoot. .php allows you to save a lot of time typically used for updating, changing content, developing templates, etc. All of that aside, .php is the language of choice for the open source community. In other words, there are thousands of people around the world developing hundreds of new applications and scripts using .php everyday. A large part of these programs are then made available for anyone to use at no cost. Not only can you use them, but because they are open source, if you have some skill in .php, you can modify them to fit your needs.

Visine is an over the counter medication for your eyes. It is a clear liquid dispensed as an eye drop. It helps to clear up blood shot tired or allergy irritated eyes, as well as “dry eyes” caused by wind, dust, etc.
