Are you logging out with the logout button when you leave? If the drop down selection in the login box was set for “login forever”, than every time you call a page from Panty Hog, you’ll see yourself as logged in (because you are). If you have logged out and you come back an hour later (still logged out)and still see yourself listed as logged in, try using your browser refresh, or clear your cookies/temporary internet files from your browser’s cache. Once you log out, the system will continue to show you as logged in until the site cache refreshes. This happens every five minutes so if log out two minutes before the five minute refresh happens, you’ll continue to be there for two minutes, and so on. Everything is working as it’s supposed to as far as I see. I just tested it by logging in and out a few times. I pop in here many times throughout the day and night, and I haven’t seen you listed as online for any extended amount of time. Try the refresh tips, and let me know what happens for you.

Hi Everyone,
Amy wrote to the owner of the site on Thursday as soon as she was tipped off to the problem. We here at Panty Hog had hoped that the owner would do the right thing and remove the photos. We’ve been quiet here on the subject while we waited for some indication that the wrong would be righted. Unfortunately, we never got a reply, and as of this time, the photos are still on that site. Personally, I see the whole thing as absurd. You can purchase a cd full of ladies in panties photos from one of several thousand adult content providers on the net. For as little as $5.00 you can have all the photos you’d ever need with a legal license to use them on your site. Not to mention, the photos come with the legal documentation proving the models are over the age of 18. If you steal photos, and someone comes looking for proof from you that the person in the photo is an adult, you are shit out of luck. Not to mention, now that the word is out, the owner of that site has wasted money registering a domain, paying for hosting, and the time building the web site. Let’s face it, those things are worthless now that word is out…I think that site would be hard pressed to make any sales.

My suggestions of what you can do at this point:

• GoDaddy is actually the registrar of the domain name. Writing to them with a complaint regarding theft of your photos may help. However, what might be more important to them is that the registration details in the whois are plainly false. Take a look at the address given. It is against US federal law to provide false or inaccurate information when you register your domain. This is something that should surely be of concern to GoDaddy.
• Write and complain to the sites that are linking to the site. If you look in their links area, you will see some web sites that are doing a link exchange with them. I know that I wouldn’t knowingly link one of my sites to a site that had stolen photos, hopefully the owners of the sites exchanging links with them have a bit of ethical responsibility and would remove links to the site
• Keep spreading the word as you have been. If no one buys, the site will very likely disappear when next month’s hosting bill arrives

Hi Cindy,
It should work like this:

• select create/edit gallery link from your user menu
• Click the top icon that says create new gallery…
• check box next your gallery name, click edit icon (pencil on paper

You should then be at the gallery manager where you can change key words, descriptions, etc. PM me if you still have trouble, and we’ll get you set up.

Hi Pink,
I’ve considered allowing posts from guests. The real problem with opening up to the non registered though is that a few of our friends in Eastern Block countries will quickly flood the forum with ads for penis enlargement crap, fake Viagra, etc. Since registration is free, and can be basically instant, it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle for someone who’d like to post.

There is no rule that says you can’t have two accounts (need two seperate email addresses) here at Panty Hog. A person can have one that they use regularly, and one that could be used regarding sensitive issues. One aspect that concerns me though is keeping it factual. We have had to remove a few posts from a person who appeared to be simply badmouthing another seller just to cause trouble.

Panty Pay is a great idea. In my time on line, I’ve considered such a venture myself. The root of the problem though isn’t always the payment processing service.  Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc. don’t like adult transactions mostly because of all the BS fraud, related charge backs and such. These problems are actually more common in the adult entertainment paysite world, but unfortunately panty sales get thrown into the ring as does every “adult offering”. Basically if the big creditcard banks refuse to let a payment service accept their card, or charge extermely huge fees to allow it, it makes the payment service less profiable or worse. I.E. A payment service that doesn’t allow creditcard transactions won’t be well used. Look at things like eGold for example.
So the ultimate answer is still out there to be found….

I know you were kidding, but actually, anyone can have their own section on the forums or on the general Panty Hog site.  Anyone that desires their own section just needs to say the word, and their own section will magically appear.  🙂 That’s how Lady Cherie’s sissy area came to be.

As far web authoring software, Dream Weaver is very good, and is widely used. It is also expensive, and less user friendly than Front Page. If I remember right, I think you can actually download a trial copy from the Macromedia web site. As you mentioned, web hosts need to set up Frontpage extensions on your account to enable you to use all of Frontpage’s bells and whistles. If the extensions are not enabled, you can still publish with Front Page but you just won’t be able to use some features. You don’t see web hosts advertising that an account can have Dream Weaver extensions enabled because unlike Frontpage, Dream Weaver is good to go without requiring any Dream Weaver specific extensions activated on the server.

Yes, and another problem of course is privacy. Many panty sellers like to keep intimate details of their identity at least somewhat protected for a number of very good reasons. To provide a certificate to anyone that requested it would blow all hope of privacy out the door. I don’t think that there is an easy answer for this issue, and as I did mention in the article, I couldn’t find any explicit proof of used panties infecting someone. In light of the logistical problems with providing proof of a clean bill of health, and as you say Cindy, not knowing for sure if it is an issue for all, a link to more information may be the most realistic solution at this time. Again, this lets the panty hobbyist make his or her own decision. If some were able and willing to provide proof of health status, it could be just another bonus for buyers who are considering buying from them.

The only thing I can say for sure is that folks should not do this:  ilov  with people that they don’t VERY well!  😉

The gallery sets up the photos in the order that you add them. If you want them in a different order, you’ll need me to modify the database, the only way at this time to do it yourself would be by deleting them, and then re-uploading them in the order that you want them. I’ll take a look and see if I might be able to modify the gallery script to allow re-ordering through the user’s management area.
