How do you cut down the time it takes for the customer to get their item?

1. customer orders
2. answer the order
3. receive payment
4. send package
5. customer receives package

My problem is that I get this line of orders that take a month to fill.

I would like it to take less than 2 weeks for a customer to receive their package after I receive payment.

Maybe I’m thinking too much and it all comes down to my abscence the last two months. Maybe if I just get the last few orders out before I accept any more then I should be back in a reasonable amount of time per order.

Unless anyone has any tips, I’ll see how that goes.
