MemberWe have a tradition of putting up the tree on December 1st and no sooner. Thanksgiving deserves to have an entire month to itself.

MemberIts like the first time you get hold of photoshop or a macbook and you do crazy things to your pictures. Not professional or good looking. Not to mention they take FOREVER to load.

MemberHoly crap. I’m so glad it wasn’t worse. How horrifying?!
I can’t imagine.anni
MemberHa ha ha ha. I especially like that the Irishman is a self-taught archeologist.

MemberYou can also use css to protect your pictures; however, I’m not sure to what extent this guards your property. Also, it’s pretty html intensive, so you’d have to be somewhat code literate.
Come to think of it, obviously these people are very lazy. You might be okay with just watermarking your images and right-click protecting your site, if you can.
There are a ton of watermarking tools on the web, just google watermark or photo watermark software. Something along those lines.
One last thing. The best way to protect your work is to be a part of a community that looks out for one another. If you see something fishy then let everyone know. We’ll get to the bottom of it.

MemberOooohhhhhhhh, I can’t wait to find out what happens. This sounds really kinky to me and very exciting. Just the idea of rolling around the neighborhood with my bare lady under a skirt rubbing on a soft rubber bike seat.
Oh geez, I done got myself all tingly.

MemberI think you might have to make it more clear. I admit I checked out the options quite quickly, as some girls might do, and never noticed any warning, even though I now all about the hazards of paypal.
Is there a way that paypal can only be selected as a payment option if the corresponding listing is allowed on their tos? For example, when you set up a listing one of the first options is selecting the item category. Might there be a way to only have paypal available on certain item categories like toys and dvds?
It sounds like a lot of work. I definitely don’t want any more work for you, pk. 🙂
Otherwise maybe just a warning next to the paypal option or a hovering tooltip would be sufficient. OH, or maybe a required tick that explains paypal can only be used for certain items and to list the ad the person must agree not to use paypal for restricted items. This way no one can say they didn’t know.
I hope my suggestions are helpful.

MemberI was going to say a picture would be nice. Would you buy something you’ve never seen from someone who doesn’t appear to exist?
