My two cents worth…

I have no problem showing my face, but then ALL my friends and family know what I’m doing;? I’m not even planning to hide it from my young kids – I believe violence deserves more censorship and sex less. (When they’re old enough to ask I’m gonna tell them “mommy makes cheesecake and sells it on the web” *giggle*)

Plus none of my pics are really nasty or trampy;? I only ever show “beaver” shots in my private area and even those are pretty artistic I hope.

On the other hand, I WILL NOT do webcam or video stuff, except as very special treats for valued customers…those clips I do are really lousy quality, can’t see a heck of a lot…and I have no problem with keeping it that way.? *I* feel over exposed in video.

Pics of your face are certainly good for giving the customer the sense that they know you, and that you’re a real, desirable girl, but there are other ways to do that too…Cindy and I both have voice clips on our sites, which can do just as much as a face shot in letting the surfer feel “close” to you.

Today’s advice is on the delicate subject of hair removal.? And my advice is:

USE NAIR.

(For non-US readers, Nair is a depilatory lotion that dissolves the hair – I don’t think ya’ll have that brand name across the pond, but you’ve certainly got something like it)

Some Mistresses will say that Nair is cheating, that you don’t get nearly as good of results as with shaving.? I say hogwash!? Nair is better for boys because it allows the hair to grow in finer, unlike with razors, and it makes it a heck of a lot easier to do a good job on those hard-to-reach places.? Like your back.

Don’t use it on any really sensitive areas though (penis, balls, perineum) cause it’s liable to cause nasty chemical burns.? I’m afraid you’re stuck using a razor for those bits? 😉

It helps to verify whether the message came from the PH system or from the person’s email before you reply.  If it’s somebody you’re emailing a lot anyhow, and you’re used to ignoring all the non-current goop in an email reply, you might just hit that reply button without thinking… :rolleyes:

In the US, if you use Priority Mail (which costs $3.85), parcels will usually arrive in 3 days.? First class mail is cheaper ($1-2) but can take more like a week to get to the other side of the country, plus, if you pay for Priority Mail online (as I do) then delivery confimation is included.?

(European readers, please keep in mind that the US is a VERY BIG place!)

I don’t really know about other parts of the world, but airmail packages from here take approx 1 week to get to destinations in the UK and Europe; pack your panties carefully in a zip-loc bag and they should still be plenty fresh on arrival.? And FWIW, it’s not the US postal service that causes the delay, it’s the fact that ALL international parcels are screened through customs.

Courier services such as UPS and Fed Ex are really out of the question for US panty sellers;? minimum per-package cost with UPS is like $9 and fedex is even more!? That’s in the US btw, I’m sure to UK etc would be even more.? Imagine taking $9 out of a $25 sale just to cover shipping, or trying to charge anybody that much to send a pair of panties!

That said, there are certain types of items that would probably be best sent via courier.? Like baggies full of poo.? :P? But I think, in these instances, the customer is probably going to be ok with the extra expense etc. :rolleyes:

After a very quick look-over I’d say moneybookers looks interesting.? They have an “erotic” shopping section, so apparantly they’re ok with adult stuff.

But the prices seem awfully high, don’t you think?? 1% on a transaction is good, but eur 3.50 to withdraw (for US accounts) seems like an awfully big chunk out of a $20 panty sale.

Louise, have you actually had any dealings with them?? I notice your site says you take PayPal.
