Andie, I’d be surprised if it made a difference (AlertPay is based in Montreal, Canada).  The buyers I’ve had who tried to get credit cards verified with AlertPay were American.  Who knows what’s going on over there!  :I

I am still having aggravating experiences with AlertPay – they are even slow in verifying funding by a bank account.  Methinks that once I get a second payment through that service I’m getting them to send me a cheque then closing down my account.  If an online service is SLOWER than snail mail, guess what…  I’m going with the snail mail (heck, it’s even free.)

Paypal does not allow adult transactions, and will freeze your account/fine you if they suspect you have broken this term of their service.  You accept Paypal payments at your own peril…  People still do it, but people also get caught and lose their money.

You’re better off with online gift cards.  Since you’re only looking for a few transactions, mailed cash or money orders probably aren’t practical for you (unless you get a P.O. box.)

Tastykacie, if the guy sends you a genuine money order for the entire amount (100+ items), I’ll eat my hat.  If he just buys one or two, no problem.  Just take a permanent marker and write his name on the panty in big letters (works best on cotton briefs).  How can he resell a panty with his name written on it?  (The answer: he can’t.)

Safest thing, of course, is to just not sell to him.  Return the m/o if it shows up.  I know any sale is valuable when you are starting up, but it’s scammers that make life hard for genuine panty sellers (like you and me.)  They rip buyers off and the buyers have a hard time trusting anyone again.

I can’t get AlertPay to issue me a cheque for less than $20, and so far I only have $15.75 to withdraw from my account.  :P  I’ve tried to use it again as a payment option, but credit card verification has taken so long (or not happened at all) that it hasn’t happened and folks have just sent me cash.

All these payment companies that don’t have their acts together are really making the saying true: CASH IS KING!

Unless you don’t plan on working there long, I’d suggest you not ask this woman out, either.  Office romances do happen, but they can mess up your career and reputation, big time, if they go awry.

Personally, I wouldn’t risk it (the panty or the date) with a co-worker.  “Look but no touch” has been my policy with co-workers (and believe me, there were some that I wanted to touch VIGOROUSLY!)  Find a local kinky friend on a fetish website, or something, and get in-person panties that way.  🙂

Tastykacie, I’ve had a legit buyer purchase four pairs at once…  Some guys do like to get a whole bunch of stuff all at the same time.  10+10+10 sounds like a lot, though.

Just tell him that with any order, payment is up-front.  He can pay 1/3 and get 1/3 of the merchandise first, if he likes, or pay for one item and get one item.  I have found that a LOT of time wasters vanish instantly when you mention payment.  LOL.  Except with trusted regulars, nothing gets worn by me until payment arrives.  Without a policy like that it’s just too easy for scammers to take advantage of you.

You’re right, K-Fed.  AlertPay is one of the few processors that openly accepts adult transactions.  I’ve had a few guys complain to me, though, that their credit card verification process took days and days (or they couldn’t get verified at all.)

Samantha, you may have to resort to accepting online gift cards or mailed payments (concealed cash, international money order).  With this kind of hassle, small transactions (under $20) are almost impractical.  😛

Ebanned was very quick and user-friendly when I joined (about half a year ago).  The upgrade has certainly been taking a long time and has produced a lot of glitches (and annoyed people).  Sorry to hear about your aggravation, Jade.  I do see signs that admin are constantly fixing bugs, offering updates on progress, and answering questions, so maybe if you e-mail them they can sort out your account.
