    Hi Karen

I like to wear satin bikini type knickers, what do reckon on guys in panties?

I love it.  It makes Me laugh.  :cheer:

I agree that if you knowingly violate the TOS then you should get slapped with the $500 fine.  But in our darling Cherie’s case she was innocent.  😥

Computers should have necks…  So you can throttle them.  Hope things get fixed soon, Jess!  🙁

Whew, Karen, you have strong feelings about the dog thing, don’t you?

You’re perfectly right of course, a dog requires a lot more committment than a non-living alarm system.  But I don’t think the author meant getting a big trained-to-attack beastie, but rather that any dog (even a little pug) will bark at intuders, and possibly even go further to defend it’s mistress if the situation called for it.  This protectiveness is one of the things dog lovers love about their animals!

I say this speaking as a cat person who decided to get a dog after having kids – I feel a lot safer knowing that dog is in the backyard with them, even though it’s a a smallish mutt inclined to cowardice.

    Cherie

p.s.  Cinders, you may not leave the house looking a mess, but I bet you put on a bit more clothing than in your web pics, hehehe!  😉

lmao  I can’t imagine a pug protecting me from anything bigger than a rabid bunny.

I’m quite touchy on the subject of protection dogs because there have been enough negligent/ignorant owners in my province that the politicians decided to BAN pit bulls.  Even though 99% of these dogs (not even a real breed) will never attack, enough casualties occurred that the government needed to be seen as doing something.  Now there are thousands of these dogs being surrendered and abandoned, and being unable to find them homes, shelters are euthanising them.  Any pit bull pups born after a certain date will be destroyed automatically; of course idiots will keep breeding them even after the ban date, so that’s even more innocent dogs being put to death.  It makes me furious that stupid people irresponsibly bred and owned these dogs (that killed people, including strong young men.)  It makes me cry, thinking of the number of dogs that have died because of their actions.

Irresponsible or uninformed owners of chihuahuas and other small dogs aren’t a big deal.  They aren’t dangerous and you can always find a home for a small, cute dog.  It’s when someone gets a large dog for the wrong reasons; the dog may hurt or kill someone, and if it is abandoned/surrendered, it has a much harder time finding a new home.  A dog owner is responsible for a life, just as the parent of a child is.

The ability to make new chat rooms (and mark them “private”) is important.  Sometimes you just want to talk over your personal problems with a PHog friend (but not share them with everyone else online.)  It’s an important piece of functionality I think should stay.

I have heard more than one story of Paypal unilaterally seizing the funds from an account for real or imagined violations of their terms of service.  I have used them to pay for things (using my credit card), but I’ll never hold money in an account with them.  I perceive their practices as being heavy-handed and not always justified or fair.

There are lots of other payment processors, SpaceGeisha, none of them as widely-used as Paypal.  Some are expensive, some are a hassle, some are unestablished. (The exception is Nochex in the UK, which I hear is awesome.)  The panty community is waiting for a good, international, inexpensive provider to show up.  99% of my sales are by mailed cash/money order.  It’s slow, but it works.

17)Get a dog if you don’t already have one. According to the Los Angeles Police Department?s Threat Management Unit “this is one of the least expensive but most effective alarm systems.” Not only are dogs great “alarms” but they can also be intimidating to a stalker or would be attacker.

I take issue with #17.  If you need an alarm system, get an alarm system.  A dog is a living, feeling creature that needs love, care, and attention every day.  A “guard” or “attack” dog comes with the additional responsibility of obedience training, discipline, and socialization; you are responsible for ensuring the dog does not bite or harm other people or dogs (unless in a situation where you are in serious danger).  Many of these dogs are VERY strong, so if you don’t have the physical strength to control and restrain a dog like this (with your bare hands), you have no business owning a dog like this.  Your dog’s actions are your responsibility and you need to make sure you own a dog for the right reasons.

Let’s face it men don’t talk about hair because they either haven’t got a lot or they don’t do much with it.  lol

And since men also have to listen to the days of crying, you’d think they’d be willing to put up with whatever it takes to avoid a lady getting a bad haircut.  😉

Paypal won’t allow its service to be used for anything adult-related.  This condition came into effect when eBay bought them.  I believe eBay also does not want adult/fetish items sold on their site…  Although you can find new lingerie, condoms, vibrators, etc. on the site, so it’s kind of a double standard.

I know a lot of panty sellers still use Paypal, but discreetly.  The fine is $500 for anyone caught breaking their terms of use.

in reply to: Will anyone really buy my panties? #4483

Welcome Beth!  Yes, people really do buy used panties and such.  Try advertising on an auction site or other places panty fetishists will look.  It’s an activity I enjoy very much, but I would tell any new person that aside from wearing the panties there is also a lot of picture-taking, communication, admin, and customer service stuff that goes along with being a panty girl.  Best wishes!

wtf is a bang?  any links to some pics to enlighten us would be appreciative hehee .  If this means your going short ….DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! Youre hair is damn SEXY Cherie … but then just think how much you could earn from your locks?

LOL.  Bangs meaning the short fringe above or to the sides of your forehead.

in reply to: Girly question #4469

Err..  It would really depend on what you mean by “bangs”.

My suggestion: if you’re going with something dramatically different/shorter, shell out for a good senior stylist and sit down with him/her.  Discuss needs and ideas, look at pictures and take your time.  The psychological trauma of a bad haircut isn’t worth whatever you’ll save by going with a bargain stylist; go to someone with real talent, and no matter what style you get it will end up looking good.
