well, she seems to be doing the rounds – just spammed a load of sellers on ebare UK – luckily her messages were only there about 5 mins tops – we’re watching out on ebare USA just in case she pays a visit. Quite flattering really, I’ll be gutted if she doesnt bother with ebare USA lol
I have to confess to sending a very polite email to say thank you with a BIG smiley and wishing her well with her new site.ebareMembereBare also has RSS feed so sellers can either directly list their auctions on their own sites as well as buyers being able to view their chosen feeds. Full explanations on how it works on site
ebareMemberHi Solangexxx
Forepay is for those with UK bank accounts so if someone lives elsewhere but still has a UK bank account they can use forepay.
Unfortunately, the ridiculous charges imposed by the acquiring bank for $ and € have meant that we can’t proceed with international payments at the moment – we are still searching for a useable alternative though.ebareMemberHi Judy,
Good to hear from you, been a while since your last attack. You are exactly right, solarpay is full of holes, which is why we have not used it or any of the other off-the-peg scripts.
In your eyes, Judy, whatever we do is wrong so we’re not going to justify our efforts to you.
Cindy – Hi thanks for your support smt with regards to international payments the thing that stopped us was the fact that there would be a charge of £7 each time a withdrawal to a US account was made. We have a $ account but it is with a UK bank so therefore they charge this to send the payment across to the US bank. So if a US member wanted to withdraw their balance from forepay, say they had $50 in there, they would have to pay the charge set by the bank and we felt this was a bit steep so we didn’t implement it. Obviously the withdrawal limit could be raised so that the £7 charge would only apply to say $100 or even more so that the percentages would come down a bit in comparison – if you see what I mean. Dont know, if this doesn’t seem excessive to US members then, no problem, we just thought it too much.
Hi Anna,
:cheer: Not sure it would be suitable for overseas buyers in its present form as it only deal with UK accounts but have a look here http://www.forepay.net and see what you think. Thanks guys

ebareMemberHi Knickerlicker
No offence taken, with bank transfers you do need to give your account name as well as your account number and since some sellers and buyers accounts are in joint names with partners/husbands/wives etc they may not want these details given out.ÂAlso its not just for panty sellers. There are many other adult sellers not just panties who would benefit from using the service.
As stated in the first post it is an option buyers and sellers can use if they wish their bank details to remain private and also their online sales and purchases to remain private.Â
We did ask a great many of our members before we agreed to take on the task of trying to provide a payment option and the thing that came back from buyers in particular was the fact that they had reservations against their bank statements showing payments to lots of individuals (usually ladies)this was why they tended to request paypal or nochex. So there are some people who are not too keen on bank payments. At least this is what we found from our members on eBare. Regular buyers from individual sellers may prefer different methods but with an auction site you have a very high volume of sales and some ladies are understandably not keen on giving their personal bank details to so many different people every day.
Plus as a buyer, if you want to buy items from more than 1 person you can do so easily with forepay by simply sending a payment to their email address. They dont even need an account – an email is sent to the person stating that they have money waiting for them – you dont need to know their bank details etc.
However, we realise that not everyone will want to use it – or even realise the benefit of it. We are simply alerting people to the fact that it is there should someone wish to use it.
ebareMemberHi Kellyamiina,
yes it works just the same as your regular bank account or your mobile – it needs to be topped up before you can use it. As buyers will be able to use it on as many adult sites that accept it – they can keep a certain amount in the account so that its there and ready for when they want to buy something. Think of it in the same way as a mobile. You top up with £10 and not just the 20p cost of a call. But when you want to make a call tomorrow – you can do so immediately because the money is already there. With Nochex if someone pays you it appears straight away in your nochex account but it still isnt cleared for 3 days during which time the buyer can still cancel the payment but by this time you’ve sent the item out thinking you’ve received the money. With forepay – you send no item out until the payment reaches your account – it is already cleared when it reaches your account so it is safe to send the item out. If someone already has funds in their account it is instant.
Hope that helpslisa
ebareMemberCrumbs.. thank you Dr Nohoney lol smt gone all embarrassed now.
Actually, we’re not that angelic as we started out just wanting everyone on eBare to have a means of purchasing and paying for their items but its kind of escalated. But, if nothing else, it does offer buyers who may not have credit cards or need to keep their private lives, private a way of buying adult items.
It can also assist sellers in making more sales due to the fact that they can sell to people who wouldn’t normally want to use the regular processors or indeed have had their accounts frozen or yes there are still some people on this earth that dont have plastic. That word I keep using.. options.Neil & Lisa
ebareMemberShoot me down in flames but doesnt adultwork take 30% of all earnings?
ebareMemberBlimey! That was a bit unexpected!!
We apologise if our post has upset anyone as we were just letting everyone know what we had in the pipeline as the discussion was on processors. Of course we realise not everyone will feel comfortable in using the service, but its an option. The whole point of setting it up was actually in response to our members who requested help since Nochex decided to ‘do a paypal’. It wasn’t something we were actively planning on but we realised our members needed a payment solution they could trust not to
close their account down.

LOL! Yeah this makes sense! Rape your sellers on auction fees and add processing fees to sweeten the pie. Just like ebay and paypal huh? You auction people are all alike. Bleed every last fucking dime out us huh? Oh boy.Judy: whilst we are flattered you have compared us to eBay and paypal – we dont think we’re quite up to their level yet 🙂 Please feel free to take a look at our fees and you’ll find that members dont pay us a penny until they have sold items. In fact, the way our system works, we rely upon the seller to be honest enough to pay us after they have received payment for their item – quite alot dont funnily enough even though they may sell hundreds of £’s worth of items before we even send a bill.
You are perfectly entitled to your opinion – thats what makes the world so interesting but why not try the service we offer before knocking it, it would, at least, bring buyers to you rather than you having to trawl other sellers sites looking for them.PS Why are you so angry? At the end of the day, what we will be offering is another option for sellers thats all. We’re not trying to take over anything just provide an alternative so that sellers can continue selling and buyers can continue buying.
In response to Anna: We’ve been told by the bank that we can only offer payment processing to registered members of our sites, Flogshop.com or eBare.co.uk. So if someone has their own site and doesnt want to auction their items they can set up a store front (for free)with details of some of
their usual items for sale and they can use the processing facilities there should be buttons they can put on their sites or a gateway – whichever the seller prefers. Apparently its a risk factor thing in that by opening a store front with a selection of your usual items for sale and a link to your site – we can make sure that no-one is selling any child related stuff or drugs etc. We’re sure everyone is in agreement that no-ones wants to be inadvertently helping THAT one along on the web!!! Obviously if we opened it to non-registered members there is more chance of that happening.Anyway – Dr NoHoney – fantastic!! -Â Neil’s printed it off and its stuck to the wall to lift the spirits at 4am Lol
Thank you everyone, Jess, Wetlips,Krooze, Anna, Leatherz for having an open mind. Rest assured, if it shows the first signs of being a hinderance rather than a help we’ll be the first to hold our hands up and say ‘Thats a completely crap system – bin it!’

eBareebareMemberAfter nearly 3 months now of solid payment processing research and applications etc, I initially came here for some light relief, you know catch up on gossip, who’s new, whats happening in the U.P world etc Lol what do I find? you’re all talking about payment processors AaaRRRGGG! :cheer:
Well, in the absence of a processor we are using bank transfers – its taking a while to catch on, not quite sure what the problem is as its free and relatively quick! Some have said that they dont want to give their bank details but as we’ve said, we only see the name of the account holder anyway.
With regards to a processor as most on eBare will know, we have been trying to set one up ourselves for adult sales. After contacting nearly 200 different establishments all over the globe we have had only 4/5 solid offers! most have said no point blank and others – the adult industry ones are simply too greedy and want a ridiculous percentage. As we’ve said before – why the hell should you have to pay almost half the money to the processor to cover possible chargebacks when, if you do get a chargeback, you get charged for it as well, usually more than the charged back amount anyway!!!! Daylight bloody robbery!Anyway, bit of light on the horizon, we may have a solution in the next few weeks, what looks like a pretty good contract in the post as we speak, fairly good rates too, not too much over nochex which isnt bad considering it is openly adult – software is having final bugs fixed and thoroughly tested – the only ‘drawback’ will be that as per the terms of the acquiring bank anyone using it must be registered with either eBare or flogshop (this is because if you can say people using it are registered members of your site, the risks are lower and the bank is happy to grant direct merchant status on that basis but if you say its open to the whole world ie anonymous users then the risk factor goes sky high and banks wont touch you unless you have a deposit the size of the national debt)
but since registering with us is free, shouldn’t be too much of a hardship anyway, more details as they happen.Ps we’ll need a few people to test the new software in the next few weeks, you know payment buttons on sites to see if it all works ok,payment gateways to the new adult processor tested in someone’s site etc – so if anyone wants to have a go and be a ginuea pig please let us know thanks.
ebareMemberHi Cassie,
Bit confused! Did this buyer actually win an auction or did he request the pic before the end of the auction? If it was before the end and he put an email address in the questions section, it wouldn’t have gone through as emails in questions are barred and dont apear as full addresses. Therefore if you had tried to send an email using the address provided it wouldn’t have gone through.
If someone is requesting pics to prove you are real before the end of an auction, you can always post a small pic in the questions area.
So to be fair, he may not be a deadbeat buyer.
On the other hand, if he won an auction and is not responding to requests for payment – drop us an email at eBare and we can help contact him for you and at least ensure if the buyer is not serious he will be unable to do this to another buyer.
On many occasions we have been able to help bring both buyer and seller together when, initially, one party has thought the other is not responding, not understood requests, miscommunication, problems with emails etc so drop us a line and we can help out.Best regards
Lisa

eBare adult auctionsebareMemberOn Tuesday eBare have been invited as guests on Kerrang! Radio to talk about ebare/used panties etc.
It will be broadcast live online at http://www.whatson.com/kerrang/Â or UK bods can go to Sky TV Channel 933 and NTL channel 895 betwen 10pm and 1am GMT – so all our good friends in the US will be spared the ‘strangled cat-like’ sound of my voice :cheer:
We just think that if listeners go have a look at eBare a great many will think – ‘I can do that!’ – whether or not they will stand the test of time is another matter entirely.
But back to Karen’s inital point… ‘newbies’ may well underprice to start with simply because they havent looked around enough to know the ‘average’ prices. Most are simply doing it because they find it a turn on and love the attention they receive – the financial gain is more of an afterthought at first.
On the upside as well as pantie sellers it should also bring in lots of pantie buyers too 😉
ebareMemberHi Karen,
Yes, we’ve noticed a great many new panty sellers joining eBare recently, ladies who, by the style of their auctions and lack of personal site etc, you can tell that this is probably their first time. We’ve noticed from our site referrals that we’ve had a great many people coming in from posts on forums – unfortunately when we go in to have a look and see whats been written about the site ( hey – everyone wants to know whats been written about them 🙂 – its usually been removed but not before sending alot of people through. We think this is where some of the UK ‘newbies’ are coming from. They see the success and attention the sellers on the site receive and find its a turn on and they’ll have a go. Obviously once they get alot of interest – which any new seller does it boosts confidence to go out and find other places to sell their items and then another panty girl is born…
Trouble is as a ‘newbie’ they are very eager to please and very bouyed up by all the attention and can sometimes be taken advantage by seasoned buyers (not all we hasten to add) with very low prices. But once they have a few auctions under their belt thet tend to have looked around to see what everyone else is doing and follow suit.
Thats just our experience on eBare it may be completely different elsewhere. Brace yourselves for another influx after Tuesday then…….
ebareMemberWell, I’ve been reading this thread with interest obviously as a) we’re an adult auction site ouselves and b) we use PHPProbid.
We’ve used Probid since day one and can confirm that once they get it all up and running correctly it really is powerfull stuff and can incorporate video auctions etc etc as we have done at eBare.
It seems everyone with an auction site adult or general is changing over to probid and its not surprising as the support there is fantastic and its so user friendly.
So, give them time to get it all working right as there really is a huge amount of back-end stuff to organise especially if you are having to port databases as they are probably having to do, otherwise everyone will lose their feedback etc.
One thing having the same software as us but we hope they dont pick the same site colours as eBare otherwise buyers and sellers wont know which auction they’re on! Â :cheer:
Just our tuppence ha’penny
